We are playing better. We went toe to toe with Giles County, and I don't think you guys are at that level. We are playing much better offensively since the freshman QB took over. Our defense has had some rough stretches, but that group will get it figured out. They always do. We have one of the best kickers in the state too. I think we win by at least 10. Looking forward to a great game.

Lots of franchised restaurants at exit 49 (which is Hwy. 30 that will take you to Etowah and McMinn Central).  Anything from a Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday, Applebees, Western Sizzlin, Buddy's BBQ, to a plethora of fast food burger, taco, pizza places. There's a Japanese place and an all you can eat Chinese place.  There's a great Mexican place near the exit that fixes some awesome wings, and there's a couple other very good Mexican places too. Michael's (already mentioned by Yeti) has some excellent meals. One of my favorites is the Gondolier - they have very good pizza and food.... and an all you can eat salad bar, Greek and Italian sandwiches and plates. 
Etowah has a couple of good eateries too, but Athens has a much larger selection.

We winning Friday. Our freshman QB is the real deal and enough said about our defense. Purple swarm is in full effect. Look at what we did to Community. Looking forward to the trip. Any good eating establishments in Athens?

I think our boys are ready to get after them boys from lafayette. We got some momentum coming into this one with the new qb.

It was 0-14 at the time, but we had them on the ropes. We were about to punch it in, and then it was a ball game. But the zebras thought we were there to see them and intervened. We got cheated.

I'm glad our boys don't think like you. Our boys still got some fight in them. I thought Dale was getting after it on defense Friday. The Giles game will be closer than people think. We got cheated at Lebanon which I knew we would. 

I've seen both in person. Smith by at least two td's. Upperman won't hit double digits. 

Against Lebanon, refs cost us the game with that horse $h*t hurdling call just as the Purple Tigers were unleashing unquestionable dominance in the second half. We can't dwell on that though. On to the next one.

Purple Tigers win! The Purple Swarm invades Lebanon and comes out with a W. My boy hates them Lebanon kids.

Purple Tigers bounce back from a tough loss last Friday. We beat ourselves. Hopefully we learn and move on. I'll say Purple Tigers by 14 over Smithville.

I think me and mrs are going to hit up Andy's Pizza before the game tonight. Anthony and Theresa's homecookin looks solid though. Gonna be a tough decision. Purple Tigers by 3 Td's tonight.

Same guy picked Watertown 31- Trousdale 2 end of last season so that pick looks good for us. 

Both teams come in with doubts based on 2022. Watertown couldn't score and Forrest couldn't stop anyone. Loser will struggle to win 5 games this season. Momentum and coaching will play a big role. Several Forrest starters were held out scrimmages. Word is #56 and 77 are both back after missing the scrimmages and should solidify the left side of the line.  Look for Forrest to play smashmouth in the WingT and run right at Watertown.  17-7

 Please tell me more about 56 and 77. Just kidding because it doesn't matter. Purple Tigers win.  

Looking forward to another year watching my boy. We are much better this season. Good defense that runs to the ball. Different QB but trending in the right direction. We've played tough competition in the preseason. Competition lightens up on Friday. Purple Tigers win 27-3.
