Dawson had a couple rough times out here in Mtneer country. But the defense got better every year. Schedule last year was tuff. Kids like him from what I hear. Last season defense showed out at times. This is a big step though. We gonna miss him! 

Hear the new DC at HHS gonna be the DL coach. Anyone heard anything on this Whitehead guy? All I’ve heard is good things. Heard defense will stay similar with a few of his new things. 

I’ve got heritage, will be a fun night!

Thoughts? Usually game doesn’t matter but feel like a lot rides on this game. I can’t remember last time it felt like this.

Exciting times out here at the mountains!  My nephew thinks they have a chance to be pretty good, I’m sure lot of people like myself have heard that before though! What is the thoughts about the Neers this year? Wizard of Oz has got em boys excited!

Region 2-5A is very tough as well. Obviously West and Powell but then throw in Central, Heritage, and Halls. Maybe best two teams in the East in 5A, Central won em a couple titles more recent than people realize, Heritage is improving, and Halls is Halls

Coach Taylor OUT at Karns. I’m wayyyy out in BC, I’m in the dark when it comes to most things knox co. Was this as unexpected as it was to me?

Mairvul inexperienced in 2023. I think lowwww floor, but high ceiling too. What we thinkin? I wish they would have scrimmaged I would have checked them out. All new guys in the dbs will be weird

Clinton will be loaded with talent this year. Not beating Maryville.  Don’t think Powell would lose that game. And definitely not West.

I think Powell is a winnable game. They lost a lot, but with that being said the new Powell may still be good. Just no one knows yet. I think 6-4 floor for the Neers. Which feels good to say haha. Been around here a long time and never really had expectations like these

I think they hit this in the first 5 weeks.. time will tell! Lot of good things coming out of the locker room. Makes me proud as an alum. Been a long time coming, kids deserve a good season. 

Willy B coach had a camera filming the Heritage scrimmage, saw it with my own eyes. If they let RR be boss man over there too much longer they won’t be able to recover. But he is a people person, he has them drinking the kool aid just like last season. Can’t wait to see the unstoppable force verse the immovable object when they play Union Co. LOL

My nephew plays for Heritage and I was in attendance. If they were keeping score (they weren’t on the scoreboard), heritage would have won. Carter scored 4 times, heritage offense scored twice, but heritage defense had 2 interceptions for TD and forced a safety. Nonetheless a very competitive scrimmage! I graduated from heritage mid 90s. Coach o has us trending upward! As for the BC coach in attendance, can assume it’s Willy B. I don’t expect that game to be much of a contest this year.

Wizard of Oz keeping the energy high! Can’t remember last time it’s felt like this going into new season.

The Neers start spring ball this week. First time I can remember a lot of excitement this time of year. 

Heritage coming off 4-6 season, thoughts about next year?

Defense forced 5 turnovers last night, I think WHOLE team turned corner. But we all know what next week brings, hope they are up to challenge
