I’m not so sure. Yes they have a lot of Jr’s returning but they were awfully soft on D and lose some key seniors. I think they’ll be as good as White can carry them. But unless they had a large Soph class that can step up and be awfully good. I don’t expect them to be much better than last year.
Fayetteville City needs to just go have fun playing in 2A ….See ya!!!! Lol

And didn’t give up a touchdown until under 5 to go in the game. Our defense is solid.
Don’t remember seeing anyone on this thread say your defense wasn’t good…. I expect it to be a good game …MC doesn’t have the same offense as McEwen…Hopefully it will be a fun game to watch….Good luck to all!!

Once again, and it’s almost every week, in college & pro sports you saw “lesser” teams upset the heavily favored “better” teams. So, again, any team in any given game can beat any other team, and to be sure, whichever team comes out of the West, oh my goodness, are you kidding me.. they will have been through an unprecedented gauntlet that is rare to see.. soooo many very good & great teams in Reg. 5-8, the eventual winner that heads to Nooga will be gargantuan favorites.. but even then, in the finals any team can win, even pitiful, no-chance underdogs. That’s why I luv Luv LUV this game of football, and all competitive endeavors.. they really are lessons for & microcosms of life itself. And Friday night, methinks everything will come together for Dresden and our big cats will win over Fayetteville’s big cats. I kinda feel it in my bones & guts.. or that could be my arthritis & fiery-hot chili beans too. Ha. May neither team suffer any injuries & all fans have safe, uneventful trips.
City by a bunch….lol oh..oh.. nice book… City by 4+ TDs.

this is the only explanation that gives moore a chance to be within 4 scores friday. being tied late to McEwen is Forrest level awful
McEwen was a much better team than Forrest… McEwen had a absolute DUDE at RB and ran a wing T offense and controlled the ball and ran a lot of clock…..

I mean Cassidy and Taylor for McKenzie have been amazing players for almost 3 seasons now. You can see the progression from their sophomore years to now. They aren’t just having a flash in the pan type season this year. They have been consistent throughout their high school career.
What is Taylor's stats for this season...?? Wasn't he a finalist for Mr Football last season?? What is Cassidy's stats?? He is a semi-finalist for Mr Football this year....

What has been the reason for the jump in White’s stats this year? Getting the opportunity, new scheme, more confidence?
Looking back at the stats for the McKenzie game he had 1 rush for -2 yards. The rest of the 2021 games didn’t break down stats per player so I don’t know what his totals were through the season but they sure weren’t what he has done this season.
Wasn’t the starting QB last season….played pretty much entire season last year with torn labrum in shoulder….Had surgery in off-season to repair….

RB #35 Wills for McEwen is a legit beast…….Heck of a RB……

Please lemme know how #35 Wills is as a RB. Eg: what type of runner, how many yards after first contact, and if he's easy to tackle. Tia
Who said Wills wasn’t a good RB???????? Nobody…..He just better come with some help….Hope they run him every play…..Nobody on here ever said he wasn’t gonna be easy to tackle…..

Your beef is with So Pitt getting a kids nominated a lot. I’m informing you that the reason is because they are typically playing in the Semis every year or for the Championship. Those programs are going to get the nod over programs that aren’t in the Top 5 yearly. That’s just the facts. College is the same way. I’m just keeping it real
Fact::: East is not as strong as the West….I am just keeping it real……South Pitt must have supporters thAt sponsor the Mr Football Award every year…..Just keeping it real…lmao

Tons of Talented kids in 1A a lot of really talented kids left off no easy decisions this year.
Kumaro Brown - MASEJackson Cassidy- McKenzie
Sam Driggers - Peabody
Isaiah Thominson - Fayetteville
Kamden Wellington - South Pitt
What a joke that Dawson White QB / DB is not on the list…..No doubt WHITE is one of the TOP 3 players in 1A this season….WHAT a JOKE that he gets left off !!!!!!

I'm sticking with Moore County to win. I do expect Wills to lay the wood and if White challenges him the kid better buckle up.
White won’t have to challenge Wills by himself….he will have plenty of help….Wills had better just buckle himself up for a long painful night…. Besides White has been very seldom used on defense side of ball this season….advice for Wills he better stay away from MC #54 side of ball….he don’t play around….

I hope MC has everyone healthy because it'll take em all to take down McKenzie. Would love to see the rematch with Fayetteville if it could happen.
Totally agree!!! It for sure will take everybody clicking on all cylinders to take down McKenzie…Hope it happens…would love to see a MC vs City rematch in the 3rd round….!!!!

MC is finally starting to get some players back and healthy for the end of season & playoffs…. On OFFENSE we can score with anybody out there…Big question is whether the defense can get STOPS….If can MC will be tough to handle….

And playing players that shouldn’t even be on the field at all that get arrested in the off- season for gun possession and drugs…. Kinda gets swept under the rug….Interesting!!!!
