MC got 1 previously injured starting lineman back but he definitely wasn’t a full 100% healthy….He was slightly favoring his injured foot at times during the game….He was for sure welcomed back though and did have a Pick 6 on a batted ball that gave a slight cushion in what was a tight game at the time….Hopefully MC will be back fully healthy soon for the stretch run so we can make some noise in the Playoffs…..GO RAIDERS!!!

It is …MC is facing a potential 2nd round playoff game @Mckenzie…..Then after that would be a FC rematch in the 3rd round..Tough road for sure…

Shouldn’t be a down year with the most successful 2 grades in school history prior to high school. Teams were literally quitting at halftime because this group was so good in youth, they allowed 1 touchdown there 5th and 6th year and lost 1 , 1 game from Flag to 8th grade. But when half or more of those kids are walking the halls, there isn’t anything anybody can do about. 

Huge difference in playing 5th & 6th Grade football AND playing in High-School….. There is NO scouting and breaking down FILM in grade school as it happens in High-School…Teams are more prepared to play …..Just my opinion….

Cornersville is done. When everything is going good for you it’s GREAT!!!!    BUT let’s all point fingers and blame and be POUR sports and losers….And everybody just quit….that’s the way to handle it….That’s what is wrong with or society today!!! Sounds like everyone involved needs to look into a mirror….. Just face the facts your team is not very good….Franklin kid is great but he can’t do it all by himself…..This what’s 2 years of success does to you….They is gonna be down years where rebuilding takes place at your smaller schools….It happens everywhere…

To be exact Dawson’s exact stats after 6 games as MC’s  QB  ….916 yds passing. 9 TDs  4 Ints….730 yds rushing  16 TDs…………….Dawson also made All-state 1st Team both as a Freshman and Sophmore as a DB….

If Home Dresden can sustain some long scoring drives in this game I believe they hang on to win in a tight one…Gonna have to have some ball control and keep it away from McKenzie’s offense. For sure two heavyweights gonna battle it out….Gonna take Dresden though in this one 35-28…. Would be a fun game to watch for sure….

Fayetteville City by as many points as they want the Final Score to be….Gonna get ugly!!

Are they "hands down"  the team to beat in 1A.  I don't think so.  

Edit: hands down is a strong term.

Should be a fun exciting 2nd Half of the season to watch and for sure FUN Post-Season to be a Fan of your favorite team…The Cream ALWAYS rises to the top…so we will see soon enough……

And also by the Fayetteville is the Biggest, Fastest, & Most Athletic team in 1A …. I promise you there is NO other 1A team in the state quite like ‘em……50-60 players ….and most all of them look the same….Trust me….just ask Upperman and Watertown fans… and all other teams they have played…

Moore County is a different beast this season from last….Just ask Fayetteville…..But right now hands down FC is the TEAM to beat…. And MC gave them all they wanted and more last Friday night…..
