  1. I saw Lebanon's freshman team play against our sparta freshman team and a few kids stood out to me. Ryne Phillips- strong arm, good range, great fielding, and great speed on the base path. If i remember right, he went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. I will be looking for him to be someone at the top of the standings by his junior/senior year. Can't wait to see him play us again.

  2. Hunter's Lane did not make the impression of a repeat to me in the Gallatin tournament. Maybe the hitting wasn't there I don't know. There may be a chance of them making state, but as of right now i wouldn't see them making it out of regional. Also, its too early to say if they will or not. Its not how your team starts off, but how they finish.

  3. Slight chance of rain for thursdays games. As far as I know, that is the only case of rain for the entire weekend. The tournament should be able to be played. If there is light rain tomorrow, but not serious enough to damage the fields then there should be no reason why it shouldnt be played.

  4. Yes, Lebanon did have a tough loss tonight. Scoring 5 runs in the last inning only to be thrown out at the plate by the center fielder for the last out. I think the runner was Bart Cherry for Lebanon. Very exciting ending, for what looks to be a good season for both teams according to tonight. Lebanon has a lot of fight with Central having the power to end a game with solid defense. Should be exciting to see how these 2 teams finish up in the end.

  5. 1. Steven Watson- we all already know that he is a very good hitter with good power, also a very good catcher. 2. Brian Morris- Dominant right handed pitcher. 3. Bubba Vincent- very good lefty, throws well. 4. Bo Cook- though just a junior, he hit extremely well last year for Gallatin.
