I’m sure, if dissected that both teams could point to calls or no calls that could have affected the outcome of the game.

I understand what was being stated but it was implied that it was Memphis officials.

No doubt Clinton is talented but more talented than Bearden? I don’t even think it is close talent wise. If McMinn shows up and plays defense they will win handily.

Unfortunately, neither are real contenders this year. Not sure LC will be one in the next 5-10 years. Rhea has the potential to be any year, just been awhile since they have put one together.

While you toot the horn of the 1 team that brought back most everyone on offense -5 and most everyone on defense -4 but you added Keefer. Incredible things going on at Powell!!! Not what Bearden is doing but incredible nonetheless.

Reading the end of this thread is somewhat interesting. Everyone is talking about all the kids that Powell lost from last years team and no one is talking about all the kids that West lost to graduation. I picked Powell to win and they definitely missed some opportunities, but to act like West wasn’t “rebuilding” is rather laughable. Both teams breaking in new QB’s. Wheeler returns for Powell and West has to find another RB. Powell’s offensive line all returned but one and West lost all but 1. All of this based off of Rivalry Thursday and DCM games so they could both be wrong in regards to the numbers. 

Powell seems to have found themselves the last few weeks. West seems to have lost themselves offensively. I’ll take who is currently playing better. Panthers by 10+

You cant win a kentucky derby with donkeys. with that being said.The players ooltweah have are hard working kids,but they play boths ways in 5A football,because they have NO DEPTH!!! for record Ooltewah was a doormat for 40plus years...until EVERYBODY and their brother moved there in early 2000s...if you have a school enrollment of over 2000 kids every year with talent everywhere ..you win alot.Ooltweah DOMINATED this area with TALENT and depth inalmost every sport football,baseball,basketball,wrestling.,.with ONE school in the area..............................east hamm took alot of talent with rezoning etc. coach Manning is working his tail off(along with his coaches). manning doesnt play the entitlment card,PERIOD.He benched 8-9 players for the entire game against soddy 2 years during thanksgiving break,because they did not show up for practice,but thought they could show and play on friday night(all starters). He has been dealt a bad hand,but he works tiredleslsy from 7am until 8-9-10pm,to build a long lasting commitment of excellence and pride in school work and raising alot of young kids,who do not have a home life etc. give him the tools and will contuine to build a  football program.Hopefully with the new growth in the county,parents will choose a public school over private.but if not it is what it is folks.

Just curious, were these players missing when you played Central? Central is atrocious minus FJ!
