That is true, he told them that he couldn't promise anything ng because I. the moment of coaching a curse word may fin its way onto the practice field. They said if that happened he would be removed. Soooo he did them and himself a favor and told them thanks but no thanks.

The principle and AD should be FIRED. It's ridiculous, and a complete lack of adequate leadership. Knox Central, Rhea Co, Lenoir City, Austin East, Fulton, etc..etc... have all went through the hiring process with a great since of urgency with a priority on winning, and program upgrades. 

They drug their feet so long on the applicant from Rhea County he withdrew his name because the hiring process was such a fiasco. Plus he started getting other calls and Copper Basin wouldn't pull the trigger.

Seems Vestal is making some progress up on Hwy 411, if that community will continue to rally I think he could turn that program around.

Looks like the Copper Basin coaching search is as bad as the Knox Central fiasco was.

Actually it has not been posted to TSSAA website. Its only been posted on the county website,.  Thats about as effective as running down to the Hardees in Ducktown and letting everyone know.  lol

Whoever Bradleysports23 is please get off Coacht your a embarrassment to the Bradley program and fanbase. No Floyd is not retiring, its not even a rumor. Congrats to the 2023 Bears on a unbelievable season. Also congrats to Oakland, a juggernaut no doubt KC has going over there. I hope you guys go win it all. That team is really good at every position on the field. 

Watched the 2nd half of this game online Friday night. #22 & #6 at RB are really good for Bearden.

Think this one could end up getting ugly. HVA has switched to a version of the WingT, and do not run it like Rhea Co & don't have the Oline of McMinn Co. The Bradley Bears better not look past the Hawks, they can make plays.

Rumor is the coach at Walker Valley is tops on the get list. Apparently he was the OC or QB coach at Ooltewah some time back. Probably a good move for him, because he is never going to pull enough talent to compete with Bradley Central.

I think Bearden will be in the chase for region champs this season.

Went back and watched the Cleveland/WV & Bradley/WV game..... Come away shaking my head at the Cleveland offense and all the mistakes, still think Cleveland is the better team. WV really hadn't played anyone, coach Akins go to is to play really really weak non region games to make there record look better than what they really are as a team. They played Polk Co for the love of God??? No disrespect to Polk Co but wv is a huge 5A school {almost 6A} and Polk co is a really bad 2A team.  The word is everybody at wv hates the head coach Akins, but  the administration love him.

The Bradley/wv game was ugly, really expected the wv defense to be better after all the talk. The wv o line is absolutely horrendous. The QB for wv is a player he just has zero help. WV has a big receiver #6 I believe it was that looked really good. If I was that kids parents I would transfer him to Bradley where he will be seen, and have some other good players around him. 

THe Cleveland/Rhea & McMinn/Oak Ridge games should be good ones this week.

JJ is sloppy, and likes to talk too much for this stuff to not come out. When true Bearden kids aren't getting to play, and the kid that was brought in is,,,,,its only a matter of time before it breaks down from the inside out.
