Here we go again, was not a late hit and blaming the refs. Handle it with class for once in your life Mavs. Take a page out of Elizabethton’s play book on how to act. We respect them and they respect us.  But they have beat us more than just one time in the last 10-15 years too lol

Amen!!!! I had to delete my original rant. Heck I’m not sure why we would even need to play it. It’s a preconceived notion that Alcoa was just gonna run away with it by the Alcoa fans. Lol. We don’t even need to waste our time apparently

I live in South Florida, and about the only games I've seen made up are district games, played the next day or on Monday. Yesterday Palm Beach Gardens played at Vero Beach in a game ppd from Friday because of a COVID outbreak at PBGHS, but that was a game that was ppd before it started. Treasure Coast and Pahokee were playing a couple of years ago and severe weather moved in before the end of the 1st quarter and it wound up being canceled. 

Basically, it's high school football, and as much as we love it, it's not the NFL or college football where TV contracts are made and they'll do whatever possible to try and get the game in no matter how long it takes. 

Exactly!!!  A lot are hollering this and that as an excuse

And remember everyone, Betsy had a similar start to the season last year and took AC to the breaking point in OT, so don’t count them out just yet. It’s still early. If you offered me that Betsy beats Science Hill and Mo West and Boone and DB, and looses to Greeneville, or we loose to the rest and beat the Devils, I’d be leaning towards the latter. Wins are nice but they do not always equal playoff success nor are a good indicator of a team’s potential or ability. Just ask AC how they were feeling about us in that regular season game last year at halftime. We all can’t be Alcoa and just churn it out EVERY season. And let’s end it on a good note. I know what you mean. Maybe they could do a two qb system. But I had it for the #10 cause he waited his turn and he can flat out throw the ball. But I saw him bail out of the pocket wayyyyy too early a lot last night and he doesn’t have the wheels to get away. It appears the #7 does. But we have a very small sample size of what he can do. So we really don’t know
