  1. Tnlaxer369,

The key to getting any summer league going is the high school players. There just aren't enough college and post-college players around to fill out the teams. The last few years it's been a struggle to get the high school players to come out to our weekly pick up games. The high school coaches in Knoxville tell me they're tired of dealing with the kids by the end of the season, and are ready for a break. If we could get about 15 players commited from each high school, and 15 college and post-college players that would be close to what we would need for a 4 team league. We usually get about 5-6 players from Farragut, 3-4 from West Knox, and 0 from Webb. We have always held it at Farragut since they were the largest high school team around, but maybe we need to look at other venues.

so it is possible? how would you go about getting a ref to call the games...

  2. yeah thats my bad you know words are tricky sometimes....has anyone ever tried to get an orginized summer league going in knoxville because i feel i could put something together pretty well i just need some help from some one experienced. Like say i went out to all the high school practices in knoxville and handed out a flyer and talked a little bit about how the league would be run. Think we could get enough people for say like three or four teams to just rotate playing one another?

  3. i am enrolled and play for tenn wesleyan this season and i am not sure if i am going to stay here and continue to play...UT is my next choice for school as well as playing lacrosse. I guess im wondering if you guys could use any offensive minded middis...

Coack Kelly you used to be my coach can you guess who i am?

  6. farragut has 13 middle schoolers that are coming up next year and the farragut middle team has gone undefeated the past two years so farraguts looking pretty good in about 2 years once that middle schoolers get up to par on a high school level

  7. Id like to congratulate all the farragut players for being the classiest team that we've mathced up against all season.  The kids fought their butts all night and played a very good clean ballgame.  Farragut, best of luck to yall the rest of the season.

watch out for blake harper from farragut hes a sophmore attackmen who second point leader on the team and hes huge hes 6'3 205lbs

  9. Turk played great defense last night against Ravenwood, kinda slowed down in the 4th but shut me out a couple of previous times. Grapski, wow, has some of the best defensive stick skills that i've ever played against.  Does anyone know if these guys are looking to play college ball anywhere?

Dougie is a genius in school 34 on his act he is looking try possibly walking on at bucknell but really shows no intrest in playing in college... he is better at ice hockey thatn at lacrosse too

  10. Cordova is that good note father ryan played after cordova

farragut would have won both games if the starting goalie wouldnt have been out with a broken collarbone. the second string goalie is very poor and let in a least 5 goal that should have been stopped which would have made the difference in the two games, not to take away from cordova or father ryans wins they played very well..
