Nikki is a stud...and proved so last year leading Soddy to a 2nd place finish as a freshman.  Don't overlook Ootlewah Freshman Holly Thomas this year though.  This kid is soooo good and soooo young, she will surprise many.  And the kid can mash too.  Adding her to Rice at Ootlewah will give problems to many in Chatt.....even Soddy!

Mark is an outstanding coach. Really loves the game and knows how to coach the kids.

Let's look at the facts:

 

Tiffany and Nikki are very fine pitchers.  But there are two others that need to be looked at:

Adrienne Lamberson @ GPS......she didn't play last year due to mono, but she is a very good pitcher.....watch out for off speed stuff

Kyra Lee @ Boyd Buchanan......in the shadows of Sarah Warren plus knee surgery last year but she could have started for many teams and was only a 9th grader....in fact played for Boyd as an 8th grader.

The Lamberson kid is a great pitcher with a lot of heart and movement on the ball. She will make you hit the pitches you don't want to. She keeps you off balance and has the mental make-up to be a great pitcher. She will surprise a lot of folks this season.

I am an aide for coach mauser and i watch her pitch in class and she is not as fast but has more movement on her pitches.Then with Christina Haskew getting on base then Tiffany hitting a homerun it all Ashley needs or Paige Goins Needs

BAKER IS AMAZING ON THE MOUND AS WELL - HEALTHY AND READY TO GO THIS YEAR I HOPE. SHE HAD A GREAT SUMMER SEASON WITH THE RAIDERS.

Walker is faster and has more pitches. If it was not for those 225 ft. fences at Soddy and a fast defense, Waters would have given up a lot more runs.

Nikki and Tiffany are outstanding pitchers. Both are unique and different with the ability to dominate. I don't think you can compare the two until they go head to head and then, you have to look at the big picture - what is around them... Both throw hard with great movement on the ball, not something you see all the time. Nikki has been clocked at 67 with tremendous control. Tiffany has an outstanding rise ball and curve ball.
