QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ Feb 18 2007 - 01:09 PM) 826377405[/snapback]I dont think the PrepXtra covers DB. I cant figure out why they cover Greeneville but not the McMinn teams.
because they are bad
-
We'll see, but DB and M-West will have a lot to say about that!
Tenntarpon,
YOUR #'S BEEN CALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Willing to bet greeneville is a +3 goal team over west. Just an unlucky game. Guess we will see what happens when it matters.
-
Not as many against Greeneville as there should have been. Those girls were consistently going after the knees and legs of DB's players. Their dirty play was evident to everyone in attendance.
You sir are obvioiusly clueless..
-
thank you you just proved my point
lol

wasnt paying attention

If they need work, they need work. It preseason and you have to get ready for the season. Get off Bill's back. I remember a team up that way running the score up to 23. That shows a lack of sportsmanship, not getting your varsity some needed work.
They need a lot if they plan on going anywhere....

Jefferson County is starting a freshman this year and he is amazing Carson Newman's coach was overheard wanting to speak to him after a game then he heard he was a freshman the kid is good and he will be around for a while and he might have a chance at being keep of the year in the IMAC
Not while Lance Moore is in the same district. It may be more realistic next year when he's not playing.
-
yeah sure so why not rest him so he can be healthy that is not a smart coaching move to play a better player when he truly is injured
One was a from the tn high game a week or so before and the second happened halfway through the West game.
-
Who do you play for?
nobody in particular....just wondering.
-
Well even if one shouldn't have counted, you still would have lost 3-2.
Is Carrino as fast as everyone says he is? I'd like to know before I have to defend against him.
Who do you play for?
-
Completely. Maryville doesnt rebuild...we reload! With Hector Gomez, Ryan Mclenegan, Luke West, Steven Massero, and Jared Ziegler provisind senior leadershipt this team will be tough to beat! Ridge Carter and David Large will continue to improve on last years stellar fresham seasons. Plus the new addition of our mexican Raul, I dare anyone to challenge us for the state title!
Having played your team, you can count me as a doubter as well. Not trying to put you down but getting out of your district should be your highest goal. Making it to states much less winning it is pushing it.
-
Jared Ziegler at Maryville is the best keeper in the state hands down!
Are you serious?
-
Yes...a great word to describe them....with maryville loosing Franklin and their keeper Jenkins both to South Carolina they will be a team that most dont think about. they have rebuilt and are now playing more as a TEAM.... players playing together and have great ball movement... the younger kids that have stepped up will make a great add for the team. they still are in ONE of the hardest disricts in the state so gettin out of it, will be a great goal as a team!

Look for Sullivan South to progress to the Knoxville boys and maybe slip through to the final eight. They got better last year, have a lot of seniors this season who have played together since u-10.
Don't get your hopes up...The only impressive players were the twins and now that they are gone I wouldn't expect you to get out of your region.
-
Well although I would absolutely love to be as rude as some of you, I will refrain because I am better than that. But we all know the teams at state are going to be really good. As they should be. We haven't had a soccer program very long, but I believe we are doing pretty good for the lack of experience. And almost everyone on our team doesn't even play soccer until their freshman year. We are very proud of our accomplishments since we are a "little country" team that had such a "cream puff schedule". rankings are cool and all but why you have a good team that's not been ranked or noticed coming through beating everyone...don't quote ranks and think that's how the game will be played...furthermore we would not have made it this far if we were "decent" being first in your region means that you've beatin everyone...thus far. But oh well we will see you all in Chattanooga Wednesday cuz we did beat Kingston today.
congratulations making it to states...good luck wednesday and have a safe trip home after the game.
-
probably not.. if they're anything like their boys team last year they will rely on the refs to give them 10 min stoppage time to tie the game and give them a PK to win...
that's a joke...right?
If i remember correctly greeneville dominated DB in play that game.
-
You mean like how Db pounds GHS every year. Maybe that isn't on purpose though...
This kid is well informed of the past . check your facts before you post....
-
-
Personally i don't think DB deserves as much credit as you give them. I also don't think you have much room to talk about Greeneville considering their schedule is much harder.

Just wait until you collide head to head, running at full speed and you crack the bones in your face and literally have a knot the size of a golf ball in your face. It even gets better when you cant open your eye the next day and have to go to school with the biggest shiner ever known to man that shuns away little girls at the sight of it. Great fun let me tell you. I guarantee you will be wanting to wear one afterwards.
-
PS - DB hasn't played anyone worthy of being mentioned...

High school soccer is far from what you call "big boy" soccer. Wait until you play at the next level if you decide to do so.
