well lcborn i would have to agree with you on almost all you said except for the home run record.. I promise you the record is alot more than 8 b/c i know someone who went their and he is a good personel friend who hit 12 his senoir year in the regular season and at least 5 in preseason. I watched him do it. Some maybe somone should tell Duncan not to get his hopes up just yet...

Mike Guinn is the new head coach up at AC this year and everyone as never been happier. In the past their have been abunch of individuals on that team but now he has taught everyone the concept of good team, hard nosed baseball and it is deffinatly working.

AC goes down to LC tomorrow any thoughts on who takes game one????

well you are right about coach guinn. But their are more worries than kingston. LC will be no easy game either. Hopefully they will keep playing well..

Well i think Everett is a great pitcher and will fit in great at UT. He is a great pitcher now and when he gets to college they will make him even better. Now back to Mr. Duncan where is he going? Or who is looking at him not to be smart i am just wondering. And if he is chancing the HR record he needs to pick up the pace b/c i have seen him play 2 times this year and i think he is 0-8 or 1-8 which also makes me wonder about his very high batting average in the Prep extra???? But maybe he will have good luck chacing the HR record on his home feild since its such a big park down there... But anyway good luck to him i wish nothing but the best for his future...

I believe that both sides got out of hand. I have experienced fans from both areas and both schools have fans that cross the line at one point or another. I believe the umpires should have handled it better. For example when my team went to loudon to play the umpire had to worn the fans for both sides in the 2nd inning and everything was undercontrol the rest of the game.. To me its not the fans fault b/c everyone knows good fans will try to give their team the edge one way or another. But the umpires and coaches should keep them from crossing the line..

Yes i agree Everett is a great pitcher.. Sorry to change the subject but how over rated is Duncan from LC. Their was a big article in knox new sentinal about how he is going to be the next famous name from around that area.. WOW are you kidding me.

I guess OS should not talk crap anymore unless they can back it up.. Webb sure did with 2 HR and 7 RBI's and so did Mark Shelly with 12 K's in 5 innings...wow Way to back up the talk AC

well both teams are good. I saw loudon got the 1st of the 2 games. But don't worry just b/c LC is moving up to aaa there will always be a LC vs Loudon game that rivalry will go on for many years....

I would like to say good job to Coach Guinn up at AC. His first year as head coach and he is really getting things going up their . The field looks better than ever and the team is playing good hard nosed baseball. AC is finally becoming the ball club they always should have been and Coach Guinn is the one who got them going in the right direction. GOOD LUCk coach.

You are right it only matters what you do at the end of the season. But you talk like district games don't mean a thing. If the mavs go 2-0 against kingston! like that won't be in the back of their mind when it comes tournament time and they play each other???? It was a great game but no need to make excuses and say well it doesn't matter wait until tournament time. Good luck tonight too both teams...
