1. caver had a really impressive game against ravenwood in the semifinal game, and im sure that if he had played like that all season he would have gotten something. I was a little suprised to see alex barnes getting higher then , carver, kay, and myself. I'm not saying he isn't good goalie just that he didn't seem to have a nearly as much of an impressive season then kay, carver, myself and even jason daniels from MUS. I know that you can't judge a player based solely on stats, but even so he did not even have that great of stats. But I geuss we'll just see next season. What grade is Henry Kay in?

    henrys a senior

  2. Yeah it was a pretty interesting game for the most part... The ravenwood coach got pretty heated at the end stopping the game for a stick check (which ended up being legal), and screaming at the ref telling him that his call was BS when the game was already over. But yeah other than that it was fun.

anybody know who the stick check was called on? jw

  3. McCallie and MBA split the series two years ago, and McCallie got the #1 because of total margin of victory even though they lost the second game

yeah mus and cbhs had the same situation last year when cbhs won the first game but mus beat the margin in the second game.

  4. Mabye you should go look and see if number 41 is henry kay? He isnt, if im not mistaken he's number 1. There you go.

mccallie doesnt have a number 41 on varsity nolan, so that probably doesnt tell you much unless hes on jv

  5. I may be wrong but i beleive that the post stated that McCallie would win by eight, not nine. Lets get our facts straight before we start trash talking fellas

the fact that yall are predicting that mccallie will win by any margin that large is retarded, regardless of whether its 8 or 9 points

  6. I was beginning to wonder what MUS kids would post about now that gibson has graduated. Apparently they will fill the boards with incessent whining about the fact that they have no team this year since they have relied on one guy the last 3 years..... interesting strategy.

predicting a mccallie victory by 9 points sounds a little cocky to me too. and just remember this time last year everybody was saying we were gonna sweep everybody off their feet

  7. I remember MUS having several strong middies who I think were juniors last year... #6, #8, and the defensive middie Towner. Are all of them returning?

all of them are returning plus others who played a good deal last year like bowie, khourri, and steiner

  8. heres mus' schedule

  9. O yeah, definetly a lot of competition. I moved to Memphis this past december from Phoenix, Arizona and I've played multiple teams in California, Nevada, etc. They have a great lacrosse foundation, especially in the San Diego, LA, and Sacramento areas. There are some particularly good players there. A friend of mine from this past year's Arizona High School Championship Lacrosse team just got a full ride scholarship to Navy, and many others have gotten to numerous DI, DII, and DIII programs. The western lacrosse front is growing at an almost phenomenal rate. When comparing the talent to people here in memphis, they are pretty much the same. The experience level ranges greatly between teams though out west. Since lacrosse isn't a sport you grow up with out west, you some guys who have played the game for 6+ years, or you get guys like myself who start out in their freshman year.

you dont have to pay anything to go to the naval academy, so everyone who goes there pretty much gets a full ride.

  10. MBA hasn't won a state championship since John Baer left the school.  Dan Cooper has done a good job of getting the program back on track after 5 years of shenanigans, and I hope it won't be much longer until they win another one.

    when did john baer leave?

  11. What about CBHS' goalie? Who is going to take over Taylor's spot and is he any good?

    825676738

my guess would be patrick quinn, and he's pretty good.

  12. This is not talking about starting, we're talking about STEPPING UP.

    825674387

those players could easily step up. ive played with all of them and they are very talented, and a few of those mentioned are freshman.

  13. Has anyones coach informed them of the all state selections, if so please inform the rest of us...

i think there are about three topics already on this arent there

  14. With the season being officially over, and this year's seniors having graduated or getting ready to graduate, who will step up to fill their shoes next year?

sorry, for some reason it put this topic down twice, after i edited it
