what is gna be the height to beat at state this year? Richardson from HV is vaulting in the 11" or 11'6 range and unicoi always has some great vaulters?
-
elizabethton........ you guys are so full of yourselves it isnt even funny...... you guys may have some pretty fast guys but as far as raw athletic talent you guys are hurtin........ hv and erwin will split up the field events pretty evenly....... o and as far you guys disrespectin coach b. man yall are dumb he is a track legend and could easily coach circles around many coaches so show the man some respect......

ok, so that is the top 8 in last years state meet.... but aldridge, nate howell and beau gilliad all graduated so who is your state predictions for this year?
-
Who are the top pole vaulters in the state in A/AA? What will be the height to beat?
-
i dont know guys yall gotta remember a mediocre team in elizabethton played close with unicoi the whole night and it was a fact that they shut down ike weaver holding him to just 11 points if matt dykes can do this for the valley they have a good shot of beatin UC but you also gotta factor in the atmosphere at unicoi its always mindblowing and its a great game and a great rivalry it will probably be the game of the year in east tennessee

i dont kno i look for hv to pull a shocker off and there are many (rumors) that the davis kid will play he has been attending therapy and his hammy isnt torn just strained......

personally i think u guys that picked loudon over hv in the first round are crazy!!!!
HV is finally is finally finding there strength and depth in some players. Ryan garland rushed for 98 yds and 3 tds against chuckey doak. will lowe rushed for a Td and hv has two very fundamentally strong players in tyler blevins and Jesse Richardson who are both sophomores. Richardson rushed for 107 yds on 5 carries and had 3 tds in the 4th qtr alone against chuckey doak. and the blevins kid is not a deep threat but he has a level head on the field and he will not hesitate to throw the football to an open reciever. he will also lower his head and run the football if you give him a hole and the pass is not there. so theres some things for you to look out for... and i would definatley keep my eye on richardson and blevins who are very capable record breakers at hv and they will most definatley be HV's strongest players next year..... so i say hv over loudon in a close one 21-18

Maybe I didn't make it clear enough for you. I said out of 200 students if you get JUST 5 athletes that it would make a difference. Now some years may be different for the smaller schools when a good groups of athletes come through. But in general small schools can not compete with the larger schools because they don't have as many students to pool athletes from. Bottom line it doesn't matter how bad you may want it if team A has more athletes and better ones than team B then team A going to come out on top. You do the math if a school has say 2000 students versus 400 then who is going to have the better chance to have the best athletes year in and year out?
hey whats your reasoning on this ????? i think you need think your process through a lil bit and realize that whining and making excuses isnt going to win you any games!!!! size means nothin its not about the size, its about hard work and dedication. its like puttin a 6'5 300 pound lineman nose to nose with a 6'0 165 pound runnin back! who is gonna win? well honestly either it justs depend on the want to!!!!!!!
