Just wanted to update Turtleboy's 11AAA standings thru 04/30
Team _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Games left to play:
1. Brentwood 6 -0 -0 (Ravenwood)
2. Centennial 5 - 1 - 0 (Franklin)
3. Independence 4 - 2 - 1
4. Franklin 3 -2 - 1 (Centennial)
5. Ravenwood 2 - 3 -1 (Brentwood)
6. Hillsboro 2 - 4 -1
7. Hillwood 1 - 6 -0
8. Overton 1- 6 - 0
Random question - If Ravenwood loses to Brentwood, who would win tiebreaker between Ravenwood and Hillsboro since they tied? Does it go to overall record? Same thing could happen if Franklin beats Centennial. Franklin and Independence would be tied and they also tied each other.
Where is Franklin-Centennial game? tssaa.org and eurosportscoreboard conflict each other
first tie breaker is head to head competition and second tie breaker is goals allowed in district games (maximum of 3 per game i believe)

Instead of commenting on other teams students or fans you need to get your own students in order. Of all the teams I have witnessed this year, Ravenwood students were by far the worst. Absolutely no problems when we played SHS, Franklin or anyone else. Maybe your arrogance just brings out the worst in people. Just a thought. Oh, and congratulations Smyrna. Great win!
typical brentwood high thing to do, not say a word about anything untill ravenwood loses and then come on here talking bad about them.
congrats smyrna

WELL BA RECRUITS AND IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL WHO CHEATS ON GETTING PLAYERS SO TECHNICALLY RAVENWOOD WILL BE THE 1ST!

I will congratulate Brentwood on their 3-0 victory over Antioch on yesterday. Was closely contested until Antioch ran out of gas in the second half. My gripe against Brentwood was the lack of class displayed by fans and players. In these times, I believe it was unwarranted for a parent/supporter of Brentwood to tell some of the Antioch fans to "Go back to Mexico." This was a harsh and racist comment, and the fact that he said to an individual from Bosnia just added to the fire. After this situation was calmed down, the Brentwood soccer decided to do a rounding rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner." While their coaches had nothing to say about them doing this.
The student population does consist of many nationalities, and yes as an educator at Antioch, we learn to deal with lots of different cultures. I was very offended at the actions of the so-called "upper class," to allow such words and comments to even pass their lips shows where our country is. Nowhere. We have not moved forward in any instance, the focus has just shifted from one group of minorities to another. How can we allow our children to perpetuate the cycle that so many of our adults have tried to break. Brentwood played with a lot of class on the field, but off of it, their actions should have not been allowed, and were disgusting.
Nununu, im not sure if you could possibly be anymore hypocritical. In the Antioch game against Ravenwood, basically the only fans from Ravenwood were parents. But this didnt stop the Antioch fans from yelling and cussing at the Ravenwood parents. Eventually a school offical from Antioch was called up, but he didnt do anything to stop the yelling. After a while police had to be called to make sure nothing further happend. As an educator at Antioch i think you should find ways to keep your fans under control before you gripe about Brentwood's fans.

Yeh thats what they said about Glencliff from that district last year right before they beat Ravenwood.
"They" didn't say anything, as that wasnt a ravenwood player's comment. please try not to talk smack about last year when you didnt even make it out of your district this year.
-
germantown. we havent played them this year but last year we tied them 2-2. they're one of those teams that arent talked about that much but could beat you if you dont take them seriously. ive been waiting for a long time for a team like the u16s and u18s tnfc teams to develop. a team where the best players in state all play for them. it probably wont happen but it would be nice if it did.
For a team like that to be made, some coach would have to take action. I know the u17 TNFC team started when manny slected some of the best players from tnfc, brentwood, hendersonville, etc all over the state to come to TNFC. as for the u16's, many of them have been there since the start, sandy just did a great job in making sure all the players developed into great players
-
r u kidding me, i play with them jonah is the best freshman forward in state, and houston is the best midfielder, and just to let u kno i didnt nominate myself so make sure u kno what ur talkin about before u talk because u sound like an idiot, and who won the last tournament that we played u in??? HFC 91 =]
i got houston's name confused with someone else from mba, and ive never played against hfc 91, so in your words, "make sure you know what your talking about before you talk because you sound like an idiot."
-
Jonah from father ryan and houston oldham from mba
dont be cocky and nominate yourself or anything...
jackson ryden and graham williams, both bga and chaos

Is he in residency? I haven't heard of him before. Daniel and Brandon are the only ones I know of with the National Squad.
hes in the national pool i think.
and i heard lowders getting his wisdom teeth pulled
-
from what i have seen in this county:
three from each team
Brentwood- Lowder, Edmonds, Walsh (and many more so I just picked seniors)
Centennial- Sparks, Decarlos Baker, other center mid(don't know his name)
Franklin- Acree, Veach, Booth
Independence- Moises Sixtos, Flahrety, Bender
Hillsboro- St. Louis, McCachern, other
Ravenwood- Gavin, Moorad, Kahn
These are just some of the williamson county teams in AAA
for BGA- Bristol, Dawes, Wonderlin, Preston, Morrissey
if flahrety is named to the all county team i promise you ill quit soccer. id put ben gaines instead of him for independence.

Thank goodness no one from TN ever tried that.
I think it was call the Civil War/War between the States/Uncle Abes war etc!
correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure we lost.
-
I am pretty sure they knew what was going to happen when they turned them selves in....and also i think the people at tssaa do know what they are doing or they wouldnt be there....sounds to me like ur just a sore looser!!
So if someone commits murder and turns themself in...does that make them honorable also!! Its not the end of the world frommy boy...so quit crying about it and making harsh comments about tssaa, after all they are the governing body for a reason
What is there to to hear and evaluate...i do believe that is exactly what they did....they turned themselves in so doesnt that mean that they did hear their case!!! Looks likie your school doesnt focus on common sence much at all frommy boy!!
1. How can he be a sore loser when he hasnt lost anything...?
2. try using question marks and periods ocasionally instead of !!!! after every sentence
3. you probably dont even know what school he goes to, and theres no reason to try to start personal attacks
-
I was just wondering if their were any thought or predictions on the Big Game tonight!!! Who do u think as the upper hand!!
independence by 2

If everyone doesn't agree with most of TSSAA's logic and decisions, why don't the high schools just dump the TSSAA and form another sanctioning body run by the coaches. Tennessee High School Assocaiton sounds good to me. It seems to often to me that State Tournaments and Championships are often not run correctly, decisions are often not made with good sense and punishments are often to harsh for the crime. Let's get rid of TSSAA.
ok, and when were done with that we might as well overthrow the united states goverment too

Danny Rayburn of Brentwood is a good sophmore defender. Im not sure if he plays defence for BHS, but he does for his club team. Also Austin Hayes of Lavergne is good, plays for the same club team as Rayburn.
yea danny plays defense for brentwood, he started last year as a freshman i think
-
Is Lowder a freshman? What year is he?. . Define "legit"
Hes just trying to say that when your team plays easy teams and wins by a score of 10-0 or something similar then of course you should be scoring 2-3 goals in those games
Lowder is a senior
-
brentwood 3-1 hot headed game some cards will be shown
haha, way to be optimistic.
-
He has a better chance of going to memphis than you do.
real mature comment.
if hes a senior then hed already know if he was going to memphis or not, im assuming hes not
-
yea very true im a franklin player and i was assigined to keep him under control all game and without him there team is weak we just played a bad game but ravenwood should be no compition in future games
nick, that ravenwood player embarresed you. he ran all over you, and megged you all over the field. you did anything but keep him under control.
-
happypappy...good post, but you are making this bradley kid sound really good...is he honestly that good?
no, the best sophomore on bhs is danny rayburn by far
-
michael giordano of bhs deserves to be recognized. the thing about michael is his decision making. rarely do you see him make a lazy pass or give up possesion. pretty reliable player.
i agree with that
-
Do you mean that BA's varsity beat Ravenwood's jv, or BA's jv beat Ravenwood's jv?
i couldnt tell if BA switchd out from varsity to JV from what i saw, i just know that it wasnt Ravenwood's varsity
-
psh you know very well that was not the score
what was the score?
-
ravenwood: 3-1
CPA: 4-3 but we got a red nd gave up a pk in the first half so we were down like 3-1 before half.
did ravenwood play their varsity the whole game?, because in the game i saw them play against BA they only had their varsity in about 20 minutes.

As a player for franklin, obviously you are going to be biased.
From a neutral perspective from up in the bleachers the ball was not in the keepers posession when #12 left to ground to get the ball. From what i saw it did look like his legs hit the keeper but this is because the keeper failed to leave the ground(no idea why he would just stand there and wait for the ball...) and was not malicious in any way. He probably should have been given a yellow card but a red was a bit harsh in all honesty.
As for the franklin player who shoved #12 after the play, he should have at least been given a red as well as he ran a good 5 yards and then proceeded toblatantly shoved 12 after the play was already over. Its not protecting your keeper if the play is already over.
And please if your going to call someone a moron at least spell moron right....
