Who plays the game the way it is supposed to be played? There isn't that many who still play "old school" baseball......

Because Dyersburg is hosting a tourny thursday when DC wants to play and wednesday they played a freeze out game against westview and they wanted to play a double header that day and it wasnt going to happen either
LET'S JUST FACE THE FACTS..........Dyersburg is dodging Dyer County because they do not want another disrtict loss. That is what is going on for everyone who wants to know.

Well I wasnt impressed with either team to say the least. A lot of errors, no hitting, and the pitchers from both sides werent throwing very hard. Rivalry or not......I was just curious why all the parents were yelling, thats it pal. Good luck to your life as you were probably one of the idiots I was talking about.......another parent who was picked last on the PE squad.

Why were Dyersburg Fans so mad about the balk call? I heard one fan yelling at Dyer County's head coach for no reason. Dang, I drove forty five minutes to watch a good game but I could feel the anamosity in the air. Why do these coaches dislike each other?

Will be interesting to see the outcome of this one. G'town is probably going to be stronger this year, and Bartlett will probably be not as strong as they have been in the past few years. But, until someone shows they can beat the Panthers when it counts, Bartlett is still the team to beat in this part of the state. This game is always a good matchup. Another good matchup tonight = Arlington @ Collierville. Then tomorrow Bartlett @ Collierville. Gotta love this time of the year.

actually tyler brewer took a visit down to dyersburg state where neil robinson from siegel signed brian davis from riverdale signed austin towns from smyrna signed and taylor clark and spencer sinor have signed if they got tyler to go down there as well that team will be good even though they are ranked in the top 15 in the nation for juco baseball
Why are all of these guys signing here? Just a serious question.... I know Dyersburg State is a good program but are they all wanting to play together? Do you think they will have a problem playing together on a team? Just curious.

Will is a fine young man. Good luck to the bolivar Tigers and remember Clint Barnes. Clint might be the best players in the state that is being over looked. He hasn't signed yet so what ever college gets him will get a fine ball player. Good Luck to them at state. Oh yeah. ( Shame on Kessler for not giving more money to this team for Travel and Hotels )

Walkoff, I've just responded to another one of your posts. What a joke! You think it's about his "teaching style". You are more pathetic than I thought you were. You do know that this teacher has been let go from 2 other schools. Do you have a clue what that was about? Get your facts straight before you start spouting off at the mouth.
First off, I would love to show you how pathetic I am in person. I know a little of his past, not a whole lot. I knew he did not have his teaching certificate at Gibson County. I think you are more centrally involved than you want people to know. Good luck, maybe you can get his job. And oh yeah if I applied I KNOW I would get it son.

Did he fail the wrong kid in his class for acting up? What was the situation? Basically, you are saying he is a jock. Correct? In the classroom everyone has a teaching style just like a coaching style, so for you to say he is not an educator is absurd. Quit BABYING these kids, you are the problem man, get it through your heads. If you were so smart then why aren't you teaching? I hate listening to people who want kids babied. We weren't babied back in the day so why should they be? No child left behind, give me a break. This country is going to have some serious problems because parents are teaching kids that if someone says something negative to them, that is a sin. What a joke guys, listen to yourselves. Make these kids earn what they get, they will grow from it. Quit giving them the easy way out by complaining because they will quit everything in the future.

Do you even have kids? You only have part of the details of what has gone on. There are other concerns out there. Those who do the hiring should do better background checks. There are reasons that educators are not rehired in other school systems.
It must be your kid that is pickin' splinters pal! Coach Messer has done a good job with that UNTALENTED team. You all have one pitcher who throws in the low 80's(if that) and a catcher who MIGHT play college baseball. So give the guy credit, he led that team to where they are today! His gameplan versus Dyer County was good because DC out-talented them by a long way.

Coach Clark is a well respected figure on and off the baseball field Bart. He has done a good job wherever he has been which puts a foothold on his character. Pomeranz is a good pitcher who needs to develop a little bit. He will have a shot to make money in the future if he stays injury free. Coach Hopkins is a good coach as many people agree with what I just stated. Coach Hopkins needs to understand one thing, HE NEEDS OTHER PEOPLE MORE THAN THEY NEED HIM!!!! Thats what he NEEDS to UNDERSTAND

I was recruited pretty heavily by Dyersburg State coming out of high school. They were really professional and I probably made a mistake of going NAIA. I thought that NAIA was better baseball than JUCO but I believe JUCO may be better in Tennessee. I would have to say that Chattanooga State, Walters State, and Dyersburg State have to be the front runners for the better "JUCO athletes" at this point and time in Tennessee. Just my opinion

I would be proud of that Roane State signing since they are so good....... I saw where they finished 4-26 in conference WOWWWWWWW!!! They are a powerhouse on the rise with a GREAT coaching staff I reckon. Good luck to these young men as I am sure tey will get plaenty of baseball knowledge.

Ok Ok Ok COACH, you all beat us twice but we let you win so we could have an easy first round game against your team, it is called strategy meathead. Keck had what 2 hits all weekend, boy he is a stud. I wish you coaches would stopacting like you all are going to Idaho, you all couldnt beat the school of the blind at a vision test. I will cya inbreds later today. Hope we dont ten run you guys since you have that great pitching. AMF.
P.S. I love you all's uniforms, they are perfect, did you steal them from a little league team? they look expensive, purple looks good on your girls.

Well once again, the people who have kids that are not near as good as the kids who work at baseball win again. This is the stupidest rule I have ever heard due to the fact a player should be allowed to TRY and get better whenever he/she wants to. I play college baseball now and if I didn't work more than the other guy, I would be workin at Mcdonald's instead of getttin my education paid for through baseball. No arguments about that cuz it is the TRUTH!!!!!!!! Parents that act like it is a job(baseball) need to take their kid to play golf, a fair weather sport that is "all for fun". Go hard or go home!!!!

I replied to someone who said they are a top program in West Tn. That is untrue!!!!! We are better, Lambuth, Union, Crichton, Southwest Tn, Jackson State, and Dyersburg State are better programs than yours. It is that simple. I will start a forum about this topic and see the results to what people think, how bout that one??? We will see where Bethel ends up Coach.
