How did they look in the passing league?

I don't think Kenwood will destroy the cubs maybe wrong but Cheatham has a very good team. Rossview will not be improved that much could not score or move the ball on Houston County who has a lot of freshman and sophmores. Not many seniors who play. I do believe that Coach Bauer has Kenwood heading in the right direction. Kenwood just needed some discipline on the team. They have the athletes they just needed someone to guide them in the direction to get things done.

The time is almost here. Two more days. How will Kenwood do against Cheatham? I think they will win. I think Clarksville wil win as well as Rossview and Moore Co. The Rossview game will be a close on and Harpeth may pull it out. What about week one games? Clarksville loses to Antioch by 3 any others?

Any news from the Northeast and Northwest Scrimmage? Read a little in the paper that Northeast won. And Northwest had lots of penalties.

Catfish it seems as if you know a lot about football but are you sure about the MC and Clarksville 2 quaters? Clarksville took a beating by Cheatham Co. and did not look good at all. Could not stop anyone and good not move the ball at all. I don't think they moved past the 50 did they?

Well I guess we will be able to see if CHS can bounce back from that thrashing they received from Cheatham Co. on Friday night. I think they are in for a long year. Just better be glad they are not back in 5A again.

Just how bad are the wildcats this year? No Defense No Offense. They looked horrible. But lets not say it was all them. I do believe Cheatham Co. has a strong team. I was also very surprised at the amount of unsportsmanlike penalites on the wildcats. That did not look like a team that is mentally ready to play in any game. Is this the team we will see on Friday nights or will there be some kind of turn around? Right now I would only give them maybe 3 wins this season, really only 2.

Has anyone heard anything about Clarksville and Hunters Lane scrimmage? Any other scrimmages gone on yet? Who is playing Friday?

How have any scrimmages gone this year? Who is better than they thought and who is worse off?

Chris Haynes from Clarksville will be a force. Fast and aggressive. From what is being said he is becoming a force. I don't think the defense will be too bad but I am not sure.

What does Northwest look like this year. I thought they would still be tough. I know they have a new QB and also have Bratton at RB but do they have a line to block? What happened during the scrimmage.

When did he leave? The last I heard he was still there. There were rumors he was leaving to go to Rossview but he is not there. If he did leave where did he go? besides he was not the head coach just the OC.

My list looks like this: Springfield--Very Athletic--Good speed and will hit. Good group of Juniors. Will be very physical. Portland--Tradition. May be down a little this year but with Coach Perry and his staff they will have the group ready. It will be hard to replace their seniors but they will have them ready. they may actually be 3rd. Northwest--Good Athletes who know how to win. Sure must replace QB and RB but the ones they have coming up are good ones. Bratton is fast and knows how to run. Fast Defense who reacts and gets to the ball Those are the top three teams in region next would be and not in any order. Clarksville--Lost 95% of Offense. Will basically have a new offensive line. Only 1 returning DB. They will be in one of the last 3 spots. Only beat teams last year with losing records. and those games were close. Kenwood--Will be much better this year than last. Coach has them in right direction and they are starting to believe in themselves. good athletes who will be fast. If the win in the first few games look out it will be like a train once it gets going. Mt. Juliet--Don't know much about them Beech--Don't know much about them Rossview--new QB, New Strength coach=New Attitude if QB is as good as they say he will get them about 3 wins this year. He should have went to CHS instead of RHS. Will coaches give him the opportunity to play over Yurus??????

Clarksville High was the 3rd best team in the county last year. They lost to Northeast and Northwest(blow out). Clarksville lost their best 2 players in fink and fredrick. they will not have a line and only 3 returning starters on offense. Northwest may be down since they lost basically thier whole backfield. Kenwood will be better this year. I look for it to be the following: Kenwood Northwest Clarksville Northeast Montgomery Central Rossview
