  1. Based on the past, each individual school has powerhouses that will make the tournament unpredictable. It will be interesting to see some of the finals match-ups. Last year there were some classic matches. It was almost like watching high schoolers go at it. I expect more of the same this year.
  2. The Indian Classic Middle School wrestling tournament at Harpeth High School will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006. Weigh-ins will begin at 7:30 A.M. Wrestling will begin at 9:00 A.M The seeding meeting will be held on Friday, November 17 at 7:00 P.M. in the hospitality room. Coaches who cannot attend can fax their line-ups to Coach Ricky Woods at (615) 952-5013. All line-up must be faxed by 3:00 PM. Central Time on November 17. Admission for adults is $8.00 and $5.00 for students 17 and under. Pre-schoolers will be admitted for no charge. There will be a concession stand and t-shirts sold. All wrestlers will receive a one pound weight allowance due to teams wrestling on Friday night. Weight classes are as follows: 75, 82, 88, 95, 100, 107, 112, 120, 127, 135, 145, 160, 175, 190, and 250.   3. Harpeth High School will host one of the toughest middle school wrestling tournaments in Tennessee this weekend, November 18. If you are a true fan of middle school wrestling, do not miss it. Wrestling is set to start at 9:00 A.M. Teams scheduled to be in attendance: MBA McCallie Baylor Harpeth Hendersonville Page Fairview Dickson Larue (Kentucky) NCW Tullahoma Sycamore Heritage Cookeville Knoxville Middle School (can't remember the actual name, they have some super tough wrestlers) Last year's champs, Brentwood Middle will be unable to make it this year. But the tournament should be very competitive regardless.

  11. Has anyone heard if the weight classes will change this year?
  12. Other than your traditional powerhouses like Franklin, Clarksville, Bradley, etc. are there any teams out there that could surprize everyone?
