Right now it looks like most wrestlers will get three matches. We will wrestle on two mats. The tournament is modified freestyle. One 3 minute period. If wrestlers wrestle out of bounds, they always come back to neutral. Ten point tech fall. We should be done around noon.

Coaches and wrestlers: If you plan on wrestling this weekend and cannot get your registration forms to me by Friday, email me wrestler's name, grade, and weight. HARPETH HIGH SCHOOL WILL HOST ITS SECOND ANNUAL SUMMER WRESTLING BASH ON SATURDAY, JUNE 9, 2012. COACHES, YOU CAN ACTUALLY COACH YOUR HIGH SCHOOL KIDS. THERE WILL BE A MIDDLE SCHOOL DIVISION ALSO. WRESTLERS WILL NOT NEED ANY CARDS. PAY YOUR ENTRY FEE AND WRESTLE. THERE WILL BE A FLYER POSTED IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS WITH ALL THE DETAILS.

Several of you have asked that if you get your information in by Friday can you get into the tournament. The answer is yes. If I get your information by noon on Friday, October 14th you can get in. I want to have brackets complete by Friday night. You can pay registration on Saturday morning.

Any of you getting the itch to get back on the wrestling mat? Just can't wait until the season starts? Want some mat time? Come out to Harpeth High School on Saturday, October 15th. There will be a 6-8 grade division and a 9-12 grade division. Don't worry about purchasing a card. Just pay a $20.00 entry fee and come wrestle. This event will be sanctioned by NHSCA. Registration has been extended for the Harpeth Summer Bash Wrestling Tournament. We will close registration on Friday, June 10th at 3:00 p.m. Brackets will be made on Friday evening. We must have all registration and fees by then. Weigh-ins on Saturday will be from 7:00-9:00 a.m. Wrestling will start at 10:00 a.m. Admission is $5.00 per person. There will be a concession stand.
