OP, we finally agree on something! Princess Prates will be at Jasper Friday night to play the Marion County Warriors! Yes Congrats!

first let me say through all this mess we now need to focus on the positive and move forward. You guys know better than anyone. Yes we have some talent returning. 3 lineman come to mind first. Moss, Butner, and Daniels. All 3 started with considerable playing time. Next, there were a couple of sophomore lineman than got periodic playing time throughout the season, Kirk and Fehr. Right there is our line. We then have C. Blevins back running the ball who will be even better next year. Then you have the 4 headed monster in Lilly, Jones, Pryor, and Ford. All 4 will be juniors. Kennemore played great as a freshman he just needs to get a little bigger and stronger. Then we will have the select freshman who didn't play this year that will be playing next year. On top of that you have some others with little playing time that may develop over the off season. Needless to say in 1A we will be fine. I can already tell you we WILL have leaders next year. Daniels, Moss, Butner , Kennemore, and Blevins. Mark my word.

I think one of those 5 may go south! I hope he doesn't lead the others.

Question, I seen 5 or 6 Pirates not dressed out, on the wall last night.  Were they injured? 

Marion should win this one!  They just need to concentrate on playing solid mistake free football!

This game will be close.  Both teams are looking for consistency.  I think the Pirates have a few more play makers.  If they can minimize their turnovers, Pirates by 6.

Marion has a great shot in 2A.

I don’t see it. You have to run more than 5 different offensive plays. Ross better borrow that Murphy Fair book from Roy and take some notes.

SP will win this one by 2 TDs!  As they will continue to improve.

Marion is best team in valley but that's not saying much . Valley is very weak this year . I wasn't impressed with Marion tonight. I personally, after watching them twice, don't believe they are near as disciplined as last year.

This should be an interesting game. It will be interesting to see if Marion's defense can stop Bledsoe's passing game.

Well, I'm stuck in Philly so I won't make it tonight. First game I have missed in quite a few years. I look for this team to come out and make a statement. If they leave Grundy in the game, it could be a long night. Hoping for a injury free game and as always.........

This game will be played on Thursday night. I think this game will be close. I am not completely sold on Marion's new offense yet. Little loose for me.

Good Luck to the young men in the Orange and Black Friday.  MCRoadwarrior hopes you bring back another Gold Ball!  Too many silver ones already in this county!  I believe the Pirates win this by couple of TDs if they take care of the football and minimize penalities. Good Luck.

Enjoyed my trip to the Creek Bank last night other than coming up short. I am still very proud of these young men and "their" achievements.

 

TC, you have a really good team and old MCRoadWarrior will be pulling for you the rest of the way! go get thar Gold Ball!

 

Last night when they were playing that SlimShady song over the speakers, I thought he was going to make an appearance but never saw him. LoL

Wow. Not giving Marion defense much credit are you? SP needed 2 turn overs to score 35 and they are no SP! I just don't see them scoring 35. This soft schedule has allowed this defense to improve. I still say Marion wins!

Quit trying to play it down....Mary Ann played a powder puff schedule...TC played an amazing schedule...

 

7 teams on TC schedule made the playoffs...how many on Mary Ann...2...and 1 of them spanked y'all..

 

and that 6-4 Gallatin team is still in the 5A playoffs with only 8 teams left...

 

Unfortunately for Mary Ann...this is NOT the same TC team you guys played last year...and like Ambassador said all year long last season... if you want to beat TC...last year was the year to do it.
