Is the game really going to be at the high school? Does the college not have a stadium? Should be a good game.

Who will be the standouts offensively and defensively? Any scholarships left for players already there?

Deron Garrett was a wide receiver/kick return specialist and Brandon Myles was a dual threat quarterback (meaning that he could both throw the ball and run it effectively).

Richard has told me some stuff but I don't know if he wants me to repeat it...I think UT has shown some interest in him along with the other schools already mentioned

What schools have showed interest in Harb? I've heard he's a good kid. Saw the article about Fiegler in the paper. Any more news about him? It's great to see these local boys get some publicity.

Good luck to these local talents. Keep us informed of recruiting news about our area guys. Speaks well for our football programs in this area. I think sometimes middle and West Tn get more publicity about their players.

Any news on area QB's commitments? Especially smaller schools (2a and 3A). I think there was a thread earlier on Joey Fiegler from Alocoa and Harb from Christian Academy, but haven't heard anything. Also, who are some receivers that are considering playing at the next level?

Haven't read anything about football recruits for Austin Peay. Has anyone heard anything? Are they having trouble recruiting because of their record?

Hey, i played for coach mccray in his first season as the govs head coach. he is probably the most caring coach i have ever been around in my life. he knows that apsu football isn't going to end up being the biggest thing in these kids lives. he brings positive attitude, and christian values to an arena where its not usually seen.

and not to say that he does not want to win, but i have been around the players that he inherited on that team(who would be the seniors) and they are not by any means close to being commited to doing what it takes to win football games. Coach McRay has been coach for 3 seasons and he has had to deal with kids being ineligible, or droping out of college throughout his time at apsu.

and as for this year, you may not know but of the 85 man roster, 50 are TRUE freshmen!!! could that be a legitimate reason for a 2 win season?

To fire coach Mcray would be foolish, he is just the type of man apsu needs coaching its football team as it heads to the scholarship level.

 

As for Dave Loos, his record was 13-19 last year, and it may not matter to you, but the greastest senior class apsu has had graduated the year before( A. Henning, R. Weirzba, J. Lewis, and others) thats a huge chunk of talent, so they to had to play many freshman. But he still managed to get to the OVC championship game.

and for his all-time record, do you know that for their non-conf. games they have played Memphis, Louisville, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and other top teams over the past 3 years? Do you honestly expect Loos to win games like this consistently? His OVC record is well above .500 which should satisfy anyone.

 

so for my final point, you, who are calling for firing these 2 great men, are an idiot.

I think you are right. I guess they can commit, but not sign. Where is the best website to find the most up-to-date commitments for high school and college?

Will Fiegler sign before his season is over? I know it must be hard to concentrate on signing for another school while still in the playoffs. What about the Christian Academy QB-Harb? Has he signed now that his season is over, or has he decided not to play at the next level?

Tonight will be a good show with Alcoa's QB and Christ. Ac.'s QB. Any news on either of them committing or signing?

I am a little surprise that your boy is the future. They said they will sign two qbs and one of them is an outstanding qb. Word is he will start immediately.

Who is "they"? Where are the QB's coming from? I think they have several freshmen QB's that redshirted this year. Will they not get a chance either?! How many do they need?! They seem to stick with one and not use any other talent.

Where are these two QB's ( Alcoa and CAK) looking to play in college? Are they both interested in playing at the college level?

I hear APSU is going to be able to give 30 scholarships next year. Will they go to current players or will they be used to lure new recruits? Could lose some big talent if they're not offered to those who have worked hard for APSU already!
