i think there is a market to start teaching officiating in a college curriculum...and rules need to be modified at all levels  to read that....fouls called more than 20yards away from ball can only be unsportsmanlike in nature....jmho

it would be an honor to get to stand with you at a game...i accept....but to make it fair you have to come hang with me during the game?...im just a lifelong resident and fan....you are BCB-MVP...a TC

Mr Welch.....i understand that officiating is a VERY difficult job...but none the less you are a JUDGE on the field.....if a kid bust his #### to break 3 tackles....on the right side of  the hashmark...and you see something happen 3 miles away onthe left side of the field that has absolutely nothing to affect the play...why would you throw that flag?

Refs have been trained to call against winning team when mercy rule is in effect...im convinced of it

i never remember so many touchdowns being called back before the mercy rule went in effect...just curious about why we get flagged 50 yds away from the play so much

this is 2 games in a row when a call has taken away a score from us that has been a propostorious call...just asking for an explanation...if you could oblige would be grateful

if i were a Ref...id just call it like i see it....regardless of rules and regulations....seems like the officiating in every sport has sucked since the 90's....whats your opinion as a fan and as an official?
