great post tc By the way coach stevens and his staff have done a great job this year.BUT rabid u sidestepped my question like President Bush does...like people on here have said u have got the wrong facts about coach gray. heck u probably never have had a one on one conversation with the man.football is my favorite sport and i love this sport to death but there was a time in my life in which i didnt know if i wanted to play this game anymore and i ended up quiting the day of spring practice.I told coach gray how felt and he knew that i loved playing for the Wildcats. For the next few weeks he, along with some people on the team(if u read this you know who u are)asked me if i ahd changed my mind about playing again.after spring practice was over, i realized what i was missing out on by not being a part of Oak Ridge Football and ended up rejoining the team.i have a lot respect for coach gray because of that.how many coaches do you know that have convinced a certain player to rejoin the team after thay had already quit for a few weeks.so if u bash coach gray, then u bashing me

i am not trying to bash anyone, but there is comment on here by a ravenwood fan where on of their coaches sayin that it doesnt take 60 years to establish a good team and i agree with that... but i also know that it takes years (like 10-60) to establish GREAT PROGRAMS like OR,DB,Maryville,and Riverdale. but back to this game the title goes back to the ridge. this is it baby this is it.OR was been working to achieve state championship status since the end of last season...now they,along with fellow east tennessean high schools Alcoa and Maryvillle, are at the superbowl of tennessee high school football.im pretty sure that Ravenwood will put up a good fight but this Wildcat is just too talented, i mean they mentally took the 2nd half off against Ooltewah and that cost them a 14-0 record but other then that the wildcats have been a roll this year. And that roll stops when OR gets its 9th,and first since 1991, state title. prediction of final score: OR-35 Ravenwood-21 P.S. i recently watched highlites of both the 1991 OR-Central games. probably the two best high school games ever played in TN. Ron Black intercepting that option pitch for a touchdown was an awesome play

what about james booker he was IMO the fastest player to ever suit for the Wildcats

gulmire or miller gets this award. miller was dazzling in a losing effort as he gained 145 yards on 17 carries in riverdale's 17-0 loss against OR while gulmire got 103 tough yards on 19 carries for OR

i think that this game will come down to who can control the line of scrimmage,turnovers, and special teams play. OR-28 Riverdale-21 Roll Cats Roll All The Way to the 5A state title.

i would like to say that farragut did indeed have a good team this 10-3 is a good season there is nothing to be ashamed.now this thread should be closed in a respectable as this game has past.

but in my opinion this is the year that OR beats Riverdale, no disrespect but i just feel like it is OR time to shine
