I am giong to start by saying I am 110% Polk fan and I hope they skin the Irish like I did that 6lb. smallmouth last night but I think this will be a great battle between 2 solid teams. Time of possesion and turn overs will be the factor that decides this game. As far as all the insults towards both sides it is nothing more than kids having fun and some ignorant adults just looking for attention and some self worth to be able to relive their wasted years watching from the sidelines. I will not predict a a score or even pick as winner. I just pray that both teams have a safe injury free game and keep sportsmanship #1. As for the fans cheer your hearts out for your team and the efforts of both teams to move forward regardless who wins or loses.

Just remember to pay close attention to the SPEED LIMIT coming through Benton Sequatchie crew.

If you haven't seen this you have got to. This is a real issue and it definitely makes me question what schools carry this type insurance and where our local schools stand. The documentary tore my heart and soul for these young men and their families.

My how the attitudes and cocky responses have changed over the last 3 years. SP went from King of the Castle to the winch that cleans the dungeon dribblings. This in deed will be a game that can go either way but if SP's line is as questionable as this thread reads it's gonna be like last time the Pirates visited, ugly. If not there will be potential for a great hard fought and tight game. But with home field advantage I'll have to go with Polk in the10-14 point margin.

Until somebody proves otherwise Polk is the team to beat in this district but they better not take Sequoyah lightly, this is not the same ole Chiefs, the reason i say this is their program is improving. They are a better coached team than in years past and thus better prepared, because of this the kids believe and thats what you want. I might miss the mark on this but i think this game is a toss up. Go Chiefs.

How many years in a row has this comment been posted? It seems like every year they are not the same ol Chiefs............. but the same ol result. They just quit last year, and no not tired from what I saw, they just looked as if they give up after a few solid hits and 3-n-outs. Just won't convince me any different hearing it, gotta see it. Sequoyah has one threat and I and believe he's #24 very elusive and quick but doesn't like to get hit. Besides that they are pretty large up front but give up way too easily. You get on them early and they will buckle. Polk had 4 fumbles and was still up 41 before the second and third strings went in and gave up the shutout. I can only go off the Polk game it was the only one I got to see this year unfortunately. Their schedule is filled with extremely weak teams and they have struggled against most of them. Unless they do something drastic it will be an easy W for Marshall

They've scored a grand total of 38 in their games with CAK, Austin-East, and Tyner. Those are the three "legit 3A football teams" they've played so far this year.

LEGIT is the key word here. Bledsoe will see how "3A legit" they are come Friday night!

Taking nothing away from Farmer, definitely a good player, but you may need to check your numbers. According to the Times Free Press, Miller leads the team in tackles.

Just because the guys on the press box scream Miller regardless of who makes the tackle it will seem that way to CTFP.

I would say no, but solid and they have a good pursuit. They don't have a Hargrove or an Allen type athelete on D. #35 our Sophomore starting linebacker has all the ability in the world and when he is on he can certainly be a playmaker. The S/QB #24 can also be a ballhawk in the secondary. We have a very underrated def end in #15 he can wreak havoc at times in the backfield. This team as CaK is young and ealy in the season had to find its identity as well. The SP game woke these boys up I hope. After beating Signal at home (even without McClendon u can ask anyone they are still the most powerful team in Chatt opposite of Baylor) they seemed to get cocky and only practiced the starters all week due to fall break. And got smacked in the mouth. SP gave that Knox Grace team all they could handle in a 3-0 loss in OT. This should most certainly be a great game. Is that injured playmaking reciever gonna be able play this week? He was hard to handle last year.

Umm my god man did you forget someone? Farmer #40 has surpassed Hargroves tackle total for last year a couple games ago and is in no doubt the leader of this D. But i'm just sayin ....

You may be the one smoking something the only way this game is close is if meigs can throw the ball alot and we dont do better than we did last week at stopping the pass!!!

 

Bledsoe has scored 397 pts this year and dont see any reason they dont put up at least 40 on meigs!

AND THEIR OPPONENTS HAVE SCORED 330!!!! Just barely over a td difference if the games avergaed out!!! Seriuosly who has Bledsoe played? Their schedule is far weaker than Meigs and it will show under the Friday night lights.
