I used to see 4 or 5 topics on the opening page about GC, but now that everyone is finally seeing what I said from the beginning that they are very overrated. 3 straight regional losses with a big possibility of 5. Its do or die for GC next week at Dresden. they lose they are out they win they have a chance against Peabody. I thought just few weeks ago OHHH Peabody will lose out and not make the playoffs Huh arent they 3 and 2 more than likely 3 and 3 then week 10. It wont matter because GC travels to Dresden and their season will come to an end and they wont make the playoffs. I tried telling everyone that their was weak in the first 4 besides Milan. Now try and chew me out and tell me how wrong I am but I am right GC is overrated. They have 4 weak wins and 1 was because their star player wasnt playing.

Like I said Peabody runs a middle school style offense and that just doesn't work in 2A highschool football.

Yea i was there and you were right I think it was you that said put 9 in the box and its over well you were right they had 8 or 9 in the box every play and peabody couldnt do crap. They cnay pass they have no quarterback. I really overrated them and they wont win another game. Im not jumping on anybodys band wagon im just not gonna talk trash anymore. After tonights performance im gonna go with 4-6 and 6th in the region infront of humboldt and USJ.
Dex had 24 rushes for 39 yards and their running back had Im wanting to say 30 rushes for 251 yards and 2 td's.

Plus you know you're conference is sorry when all you hear about is Vandy. They will start off 5-0 and wont win another after that. UT is very overrated and will be lucky to finish 3rd in the sec with Georgia and Florida in there.

Is that sarcastic? Vandy beat G. Tech 24-20. I do agree, I was ashamed to go to UT after what happened Saturday at Florida. What I meant WesCharge was that the ,SEC/region 7-2A, has a majority great teams but any team can win on any given friday night.
First of all they didnt beat Georgia Tech it was wake forest and they arent worth crap. Georgie Tech is 3-0 # 17 in the nation and they play Virginia Tech #4 in the nation. Wake forest is no powerhouse in the acc basketball yea but not football.

I agree about the lack of passing in this one.
I disagree about the comment that Halls will be any lesser of a foe. We gave Peabody a run for their money a couple weeks back...21-15...I'm looking forward to the game with DC. It has always been one of my favorites on the schedule.
Should of been a lot worse but Peabody played like crap. They had like 2 missed fieldgoals maybe it was 1. Thney fumbled twice in the redzone and just played a crappy game all around.

JCS by 21. It seems every year that west carroll is overrated. I think like the past few years they start 5-1 or 6-1 and then its out in the first round. They dotn stand a chance against JCS.

I thought I would start a thread on this weeks ballgame. I know Manassas has won their last two games. This is Milan's homecoming, but the dawgs better come ready to play. Something tells me might be the last year we see Manassas come to Milan. They obviously are improving each year. Does anyone know if they have their own field yet?
Manassas never improves. If coach morris wanted to win by 50 he could. Milan by 28 probably more if he wants too.
Milan fans also said they were going to blowout USJ but it didnt seem that way.
They still won by what 3 td's. Thats a blowout in my book.

Dyer co. wont win. Ok so they beat obion co and chester co wow thats a big accomplishment They arent that good anyways. They got beat 50-0 by Haywood and haywoods only other win came off of manassas who loses to everyone in west tn. I see Peabody by 2 td's.

What does that mean...the SEC is not very good this year. I'm sure to get bashed, but we are all over rated this year. Bowl games will prove it!
Sec just stinks. Every team is overrated espcially Tennessee. That Florida game was supposed to be so good tennessee looked like chickens running around with their heads cut off. Look at a conference like the acc besides duke and north carolina its the best conference out there. They have 6 teams in the top 25 and like 2 or 3 knocking on the door of the top 25 and those 3 were just knocked out last week.

Amen. Right now it's 370 miles wide with 175 mile per hour winds. What I dont understand is all the states on the southeast and Texas always get hurricanes and tropical storms but California never gets anything and they are basically out in the ocean. I was born there and lived there for 6 years and all we ever had was earth quakes. Its really weird.

i think this is rediculous i mean yea it is bad that a kid was killed at the fair but that is not even the reason that they are moving it they are moving it because they think their will be alot of gang violence every year that chester plays lexington they say this and nothing even happens! it will be way to hot to try and play during the day there will be alot of cramps and alot of tired players

Yawn....this game is 2 weeks away! Right now, after the performances put on last Friday nite, I will be taking Dresden in an upset. We'll see next week if things change.
If Guy plays they win by 2 td's if not they lose.

What are their chances against North Side this Friday? If Humboldt can't win but 1-3 games this year, does the head coach stay? You said it was his third or fourth year.
Yea he stays espcially with all the young talent he has. He just finished 8-2 last year. No reason to cut the coach yet. I tell him either he makes the playoffs next year or hes gone and its harder now to make the playoffs now in 7-aa. It used to just be Westview, Milan and Humboldt and Union City every year in the playoffs. Now any team can get in.

Well, If we could combine Boo and Chris into one person ... goodness. Guy has only played 3.5 games. Cunningham seems to be off to a good start as a Sophomore ... can't wait to see him as a Senior. I am not sure about the gentleman from Trenton. Adrian Donald in Humboldt appears to be getting yards, though I understand he is sharing some of his time with another back. Matt Hewitt is doing well in Dresden.
I am not sure VolunteerGeneral who will win this race ... but golly, no one can argue that it will be a tight finish.
Thats just dumb. Why would the coaches even think about splitting time with another back, I guess 1450 yards and 26 touchdowns as a sophomore isnt good enough to earn you full time back there. I guess thats why they are 0-4 and also why they wont finish 8-2 and 2nd in the region. They fed him the ball 30 times a night last year and look at their record, now he splits time and they are 0-4. Just give him the ball and let him get 150 yards and 3 scores a night.

Yeah....wow Peabody is 2-0...who have they played? USJ who is 0-2 in the region and Humbolt (who haven't yet won a game)....Yeah Peabody is 2-0 b/c they've played the 2 weakest teams in the region...peabody could very well end up 2-5 in region play after it's all said and done with b/c besides humbolt and usj everyone else is pretty much loaded...no chance they'll beat huntingdon.....or westview with a healty Guy....the other games ( Dresden, Milan,and Gibson Co.) should be very very close...peabody will be lucky if they get higher than 4th place at best in the region.
4th place is still the playoffs isnt it. everyone is like milan this and milan that. Look at milans schedule they will not and I think this is the 5th time ive said it. They wont go to Westview, Huntingdon and Peabody and win all 3 games. The dresden game will be a close one I think and week 10 is basically a home game for GC and Peabody. They will both bring tons of fans and it will get crazy there. I see double the fans of the westview and gc game. With Peabodys schedule they may not finish 1st but I do know they wont finish 2-5. The huntingdon game will be a lot closer than what everyone thinks its gonna be.

Is that a trick question. Maryville is what like 61-2 in the past 4 years and those 2 losses are in the state semis and one in the state championship.
