Yeah i think i read in Sports Illustrated where Colt Brennan was wishing Boggan was a senior this past year, so he could come block for him next year. Anyways the line should be strong, there are a couple of spots up for grabs i think.

Sevier County was alot better then everyone else thought theyd be. I thought DB would handle them better, and of course, me and the rest of the City of Kingsport was wrong. You guys have a good squad. i hope this scared the indian team enough jump out early next time. I hope Daniel Preston gets better. I hear he could get an MRI monday. At first they thought it wasnt too serious, but later on his injury supposedly could be like QB Bo Burton had last year in this very same game. i heard he might possibly be back in 6 weeks.

You're right. I had forgotten that the football and baseball stadium share the same field. Now that I think about it though it does seem rather odd that a first class school like DB doesn't have seperate, dedicated fields for both baseball and football.

 

O.K. forget the concrete bleachers then and instead just let me back my truck up to the field with my Lay-Z-Boy in tow.

I actually heard that the City of Kingsport was voting on a new grant this tuesday night at the Board of Mayor and Alderman Meeting to build a 42,000 capacity stadium that will rotate a football field and baseball field in and out. Like in October, the football field will be on top, then come december, they turn on some kind of mechanisms that rotate a baseball stadium in from beneath the football field. This just shows how much the City of Kingsport spends on Athletics, how ridiculous!!!

My biggest gripe with DB stems from the fact that they have a college size home section complete with concrete stands while the vistors get aluminum bleachers that seat about 100. What gives? Take a que from SCHS and get some nice BIG concrete bleachers to accomodate some fanny's comfortably who are more than a little weary after a long two hour drive. Hey, were fans not sardines! I feel like I am traveling to Karns or JC whenever I see that tiny visitors section.

As you forget, the Football field is also a baseball field, im sure Lee the Great (our groundskeep) could build nice concrete bleachers and dissolve them come december for the upcoming baseball season, any idea on what to do would probably be appreciated.

I am ready for an upset with D-B. I am sick of hearing D-B this and D-B that. Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with them and if they ever come across a team as good as THS that can hold onto the ball better in the 2nd half, they WILL be beat.

I hear LT (Lane Taylor) is under the weather right now. He has some kind of spleen injury. THis could effect the mentle moral of the team if lane is not back. Even though hes not in every down, he stil makes an impact on the field. He has a big heart and we hope he has a quick recovery.

I may not know much about golf, but I have seen Bradley Seaton a sophmore at DB play and he has one of the sweetest swings I have ever seen from a high school player. He may not be the best on the team but with some hard practice in a few years he will become an excellent player.
