  1. Four All Americans this year, which I think might be too many. All of the guys that received the award deserved it, I just think a little controversy never hurt anybody. The award went to: Cahill (MBA), McClintock (MUS), Jackson (McCallie) and Presley (Ravenwood).

Jackson wasnt an All-American ... it was Hughes

  2. Cahill really isn't a big goal scorer, especially when Witherspoon is playing. He is however, the driving force of the MBA offense who creates a lot of goals for his teammates. I still stand by my statement that he is the best attackman in the league. I think David Hughes and the kid from Houston are both pretty solid as well. I haven't seen McClintock play. I think it is very impressive that he has 7 points (5g,2a), which is the highest total I've seen from a defenseman. Does he play man up, or just run the field well? The best defenseman I've seen is James Banker, but like I just said, I haven't seen McClintock play, and I've only seen McCallie's D play once. McClintock looks pretty good on paper though.

McClintock is not on man up. He runs the field extremely well. My opinion the best defender in the state.

  3. Box Score after 3 Quarters:

    MBA 11

    CBHS 5

    MBA 4 4 3

    CBHS 2 2 1

MBA looked good again. Lots of hustle and good ball movement. Their leading goal scorer, Jim Witherspoon, did not play and is out indefinitely with an eye injury, but Hunter Armistead played the crease nicely. Good performances by Rob Phipps and Sloan Sanders as well. Excellent goalie play too. Defense was good, but did a little stick chasing. This is a good MBA squad.

what about cahill?...what kind of game did he play

  4. mus vs. cbhs was a very exciting game... poor officiating as usual for both sides this time. cbhs tied the game with 4 minutes left and then buck towner #10 for mus ended the game with a goal with 1:04 left in the game

  5. McCallie is looking pretty strong this year with a solid group of seniors and juniors. it seems like theyve even found some guys to put between the pipes. they easily have the toughest schedule in tennessee if not the south, so well have to see how they handle themselves against teams like gilman

    The toughest schedual?

have you looked at anyone elses because MUS is going to orlando and playing several northern teams such as Avon School

  6. I think i know a few more than just 5 place holders. Randy Steinly for gibbs is incredible. Halls' nicholas shafer is absolutely amazing! He's done things i didnt think could be done. Bearden's Earl Holloway was extremely impressive the other night against farragut. I mean...did you see how he held those balls? Patrick Belastacio of CAK can really get that ball on that block...and i mean... he can do it fast. Peter Spitz of Maryville i think holds the record even still for fastest hands to balls action. If im not mistaken, it was roughly 0.87 sec. DANG! Phil McJohnson pleases kickers all around. Those laces are straight and perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Now...when you say things like who cares about holders?think again...cause these people are goin somewhere. thanks for your time.

    :D

i mean i think your right in saying that they hold balls pretty well!! in fact maybe a little to well
