tyner is way down this year . nd is faster and they don't miss tackle's . York is a very good player . and in the film against tyner looks even better. not to take anything away from tyner but nd is a different animal.it would not surprise me nd wins . nd beat a good polk team in the 2nd half of that ball game . if it close in the 2nd half  nd will win. good luck from polk county

yeah there's a train coming with one car. There's a train waiting at Beene Stadium with 3 cars. I'll take the three cars. All you fakes can jump on that Polk train but when not if we win don't you dare say you knew it all the time because I will call you out on it.

Notre Dame beat themselves. All though we lost I wasn't impressed with Polk. They scored early when all starters weren't in the game. A few kids suspended hurt us(came late to football meetings late). We started the game with 2 backups on o-line and then we lost another starter on an injury and we still moved the ball. Our defense is stout our O will be fine . I look forward to seeing them in the plafoffs.

no i didnt say polk was a one man team . they do have other threats also . but miller has away of wearing down a def. and if or when they key on him then the BACK UP qb is a threat turf toe or not . beside the other backs . if miller gets a step he will get 3 to 5 yards every time .and yes the o line is opening holes and all he needs is some day light . no as fer sp speedsters yea they will wear a def. also but they gotta have some holes to hit . aint taken anything away from sp there are respected by polk . and we know the sp o is a threat any time they have the ball . bottom line is miller does not get worn out that easy its almost like he gets better as the game goes . but good luck to both teams and not have any injuries

Pirates should come out early and pound miller early by getting low when you tackle and brusing them shins up with that helmet.That will bruise him and slow him down. Hit him high and he is beating on you. Stay low and wrap up and he will wear down.

 

buddy if getting the ball 44 times and running 411 yards and 6 td didnt wear him down that aint gonna he has got some good moves also . he aint a tree trunk that runs streight ahead . most of his yards 7, 8 sometime more and after first contact two people aint gonna bring him down unless they unload and then he still maybe get more yards

Watched Polk play a few weeks ago, two things stood out, #35 running the ball and the speed of the punt returner, that young man can stop and go on a dime,really quick.

Watching the Polk CaK game season I can see where most people get the thought they are finesse. While they do have a finesse style of offense they run u all have a misconception. Those boys took every single pyhsical blow from Polk last year and kept on ticking. They also laid some major blows themselves. They are VERY VERY underrated when it comes to physical play. I think Polk D overall last season was more suspect to the pass than this years D due because overall they are little more atheletic. But I also think we are not as physical on the D line and do not get no where near the pressure on quarterbacks we got last season. Like I said Polk will need a few breaks to pull this out. MUCH MUCH RESPECT FOR THEM CAK BOYS POLK HAS...

yes they did and we respect that . not many could or did as cak did last year against polk much respect here also.

We all Know that Alcoa isnt as good as they have been in the past, so I wouldnt think thats a signature win for your defense, not trying to take anything away from CAK because there a much improved team this yr. I look for this game to be a huge statement game for both teams . I think Them Polk Boys might be alittle to tough for CAK so im going to have to go with polk co on this one. Should be a great game , cant wait

it dont matter because alcoa is alcoa even if they are down they are still good and could beat most teams in tn. yea polk is tough but they are by no means even close to the team they was last year . i just hope polk can keep it close . this will be a hard hitting game or aleast they have not showed it to me. good luck to both teams

Polk played Sequoyah between Signal Mt and South Pitt.......and Mercy Ruled them..

 

 

I believe that is a good analysis, but I will add that the team that got beat by Chatt Central would not have competed with Signal Mt's 2nd team.. adjustments were made after the Chatt Central game... As for South Pitt,, they're just better. There are certain things that give Polk trouble, Bradley, Chatt Central, and SP had those skills. From what I have seen, Kingston does not possess these skill sets... Just my opinion!

16? Are you as stupid as you sound? Polk will drop 16 in the 1st and 40 for the game. Man has time changed. I remember two seasons ago when the series first started everyone was talking about how polk couldn't stop the speed of south pitt and how slow polk is. Well they sure have shut that up. Anyway, now to the game. I think south pitt will keep it close but polks running game will tire out south pitts defense towards the end of the game and break this one open. I have a lot of respect for the south pitt boys but there will be way too much polk county pride in this one.

Sequoyah is the type team that can bite polk in the butt after a big win . it has happened to polk before after this type of win . last friday is over and done .move on to this game . i dont care what the score is as long as there is one point more for polk than sequoyah has at the buzzer
