Do not quote the Bible and then tell us you know all? We have done nothing but give respect, and respect is not giving up on our team and saying we dont have a chance, because we do. No one has said Hampton will run away with this, still. All we have heard is about the speed, okay, we got it, you are fast. What should we do, not show up? SP posters and fans that their teams have been beaten by you say hampton has no shot at all winning this. That is fine, but why should we beleive you. We happen to think that we got a darn good team. You prove you smack talk and we will "try" to prove ours. W When you go quoting the Bible to prove your point about a ballgame, well, I just don't beleive I would stand next to you if a storm blew in.

weak schedule? thats an argument we have heard since playoffs started. if that is all you got, you might want to lower that spread there, hook.

I havent read one thing on here where we think we will bulldoze anyone, all i have seen is that it will be a great game and that some may be suprised. show me a prediction of bulldozing!!! all you all have said is by 30, and higher. that is what in medical terms we call pleasantly confused.

Here are some facts: 1. Roop is huge, he can move, and his stamina is impressive. 2. Hampton is quick as well. 3. I don't see many from SP being quicker than the kid from Midway, Poe. 4. Our LB's and corners do a remarkable job in containment. 5. Not 1 person from Hampton has predicted a blowout..........just people already beaten by SP. 6. Biggest fact of all; this will be the best team that each have played. 7. Hampton is leaps and bounds better than the last 2 years. 8. Win or lose, SP fans will be impressed by Hamptons abilities, question is, will they acknowledge it.

He has had some looks. i know for a fact that Tennesse has worked on him. He started out the year at the orange and white game, then was on the sidelines at the Tenn/Vandy game. Got to go in the locker room with the players, ate with them. He was also getting some attention from Louisville too. He was suppose to go up there at one of their games and something happened and the game got moved and didn't work out. Ole Miss has been on him since last year. Like I said earlier, you can't teach size, they can work out the kinks he has.

But can you imagine what a D-1 school will do with him? Right now, he is effective, but the next step is to be dominate, and that will come. You can't teach size, but you can blocking. Its kinda wild watching his counterpart wear down during a game, and for his size, he actually has pretty good stamina. BTW, I am liking your level-headed post on here zone. Trust me, no matter what anyone says on here, South Pitt has our attention and our respect, but we also think we have a legitamate shot, as you all do too. That's what is setting this up to be a slobber-knocker. I am thinking of a score, a prediction if you will. But I will hold on to it until Thursday night or Friday morning.

The question is will you log back on. I doubt it. Hampton has been here 3 times now and we have learned, and we have improved. Friendship Christian got a heck of a game out of us. I seriously doubt South Pitt is better than Trousdale was a couple years ago. That was by far the best high school team I had seen. We got blown out, but it was our first experience. This group of kids are hungry. So, if we win, or if we lose a close game, are yougoing to get back on here and acknowledge? Probably not, but I promise you this, hampton is better than you think.

Geno, you sure are brave to say "It ends here". We have heard that all year as well. As far as strenght and speed, I have seen it, about 13 times this year. As far as my saying 33 points will be hard to get, I believe that. You have to have the ball, and we are a clock-killing team. No doubt you all have had a great year and I have seen posters on here say "WOW". I beleive you all did wow them. Region 4 was down this year, you all are up. I beleive you may be "wow"ed yourself. We ain't slackers. Midway boasted of 3 backs that were hard to catch or bring down and we managed okay there. Just don't make a fool of yourself by thinking this is a cakewalk, because South Pitt will know that we have been there win or lose. Ask Midway, they got hit alot and hard. I mean no disrespect by this post, but understand I will defend Hampton to whatever extreme. This will be a battle, one that people will talk about for awhile.

I promise you that our defense is as good if not better than G-V's. You hung 33 on them, I doubt seriously that you will get close to that on us.

It saddens me that you have to get on here and point out the 2, and really just 2, mistakes that we had all night. If not for them, Hampton would have embarassed Midway. Blown coverage on a trick play, which was executed perfectly, and a kickoff return for a TD, which I think is the first we have had against us this year. What needs to be mentioned, and I guess I will, was that adjustments were made and it worked out okay. I will also say that Ray Ray is one awesome player, best running back I have ever seen to get yards after the hit. But you could tell toward the end, he was done. Hampton played a well defensive game and we have said all year that we may bend, but we will not break. Hopefully this, surely, will open eyes of the rest of the state, 3rd straight trip to final 4. This team is good, and these guys are great kids as individuals. If anyone knows anything about this group of guys, they are special in the fact that the majority of them have done great things together in sports and I am looking for them to cap it off. On that note, I would like to say thanks to all the seniors, you have made football great for Hampton, now lets go down the road and show our stuff.
