I would hope that none of the football team did this, because iknow coach shattuck personally and i know how embarrased he was when we talked. so i'm just glad that this is all gettin sorted out

i was told by a lilttle birdie that Hassan Abdulrahman along with a few more Clinton students, was one of the ones involved in the spray painting thing earlier this week.

if history serves me right....i think that the ship was vandalized after they won, not before...so clinton will have alot of paying to do, even if it was someone other than clinton people

Don't worry about who I am, I didnt shame you or make you look stupid. I am just apologizing to everyone, because you made Oak Ridge look like a @$$ act program not a class act program.
Just keep in mind that we are among the best in Tennessee and we don't need anything or anyone to give us or our program a bad name

I want to apologize for my old teammate BiggieEarl01 and his comments. I played with BiggieEarl on the 2003 Wildcats. That was by far the toughest and most exciting game that I had played in (until the next weeks game against Riverdale). Your fans did not leave the game early, they actually clapped us up and congrats on us a great season. I myself had several DB fans come up to me and tell me "Go Win State and Represent what 5A football truly means." and we did not dance on your logo. We had enough class to go to the 30 yard line and celebrate. You have a class act program and no matter how much we hate each other on the field, we are both champions and friends in the end.

I will not post it on here when I find out. By the way, I am 99 percent sure, the official announcement will be a morning one. As soon as I do get the word, I will be posting it on The Oak Ridger's site.

I am an outsider ... probably be the last one to know officially. I will keep calling and/or waiting on that call. It's gonna be soon though.
All the websites that have it, TV stations, etc. are probably correct, but I just can't bring myself to write a story or promote a story that hasn't been backed officially. I just can't operate that way.
TankTalk, You gonna post it here as soon as you know? I appreciate the fact that you're waiting for official word which I assume will come from Carringer.

I just want to say, that I am very pleased to see Coach Gaddis back in Oak Ridge. And also to all the people who are dissing and hating on Coach Lussier and Coach Gray. SHUT UP!!!!!! if you don't like them so much why won't you say anything to their face. You know why cause your scared and the only way you can be heard is to get on here along with all the other people who can't play football or who's kids couldn't play football for coach lussier and gray and complain because you think your a big shot! Have some respect they are doing something you couldn't ever do as good as they do.
And yes I played for both of them and I was very sad to see coach Lussier go and I Hope gray stays at OR.

your right, I was at the DB/ OR game, as most in here were... Riverdale is good, but their not going to when...becuase of 4 words "they think they will" Riverdale is cocky, we were last year- look what happened... total domanance? thats why theyve been scored on. Look- Im not saying they stink, there awesome...but so is OR...
Don't know who you are ORhoneydoll but in my opinion, WE weren't cocky last year (except for the few that stayed cocky all year). We in no way took for granted we would win. We totally respected Riverdale but we knew we could win if we played like we knew how to play. That's not cocky. But unless you prepared for the game that week and were out on the field that night, you don't know how the majority of the team felt about RD and our ability to beat them. AND Mr. Thompson is right . .all that kind of talk winds up posted in the Riverdale locker room just like their trash talking of us does in our locker room. He does love Oak Ridge and supports them totally. That's why he wants the boys to show what they can do instead of talking about it. Any given Friday night any thing can happen . . .

The real name for the field is Blankenship Field. The locals just cut it down and call it the 'Ship. The site is actually where the original High School was built. The field lasted, the school didn't. The school was rebuilt about a mile and half West, but the field was just to good to let go, so it remained as the playing field for the High School (and middle school home games). That field has seen a lot of GREAT players, not just from Oak Ridge, but the visiting schools as well. Anybody who has ever been on a team that played OR, played at the 'Ship.
DB/OR what a match-up. That oughta screw up the old research center of WaCo's who, in his pre-season poll had OR ranked #8, but after some research by his R&D dept. he did up grade us to #4, but look at us now. Hey WaCo are ya ready for some football? Are ya coming down big I-81/40 for the game?
BOY did I mess up my post!! Oh well . .been a long week and it's only Monday!! What I was trying to ask is this: I'm thinking Blankenship was the name of the first OR school superintendent and the field is named after him. Am I totally crazy for thinking that?[/i]

Oak Ridge's starting TE is number #44 James Mitchell, he is in when they are in their base offensive package. #43 Rick Daniels-Mullholland is in when they go Double TE. He is a Senior but this is his first year ever playing football, the last three years he has been a stand out on the Oak Ridge basketball team. But...yes he is a very good football player, and i think that if he played more than just this year he could be at a big D-1A school but i am not sure if he wants to play football or basketball in college

i have to agree with just about everyone, but my favorite pick of course would be Oak Ridge's stadium, and they just got a all new grass planted so its probably one of the nicest

sorry to tell the oak ridge fans, but mr. booker will not be playing friday against the govs, because of reasons unknown. all that i know is that he will be suspended for 5 days and will miss 2 ball games. but we still will be victorious. we got gulmire and davidson who play better than him anyways.

i think it will be a good game, Oak Ridge has finally realized that they aren't all that anymore and they are going to have to fight for everything they get going into this second half of the season, but i say that the score will be 35-14

sounds like a pity cry from someone who is sittin their fifth thumb at home this saturday. i highly doubt that OR had many people scounting for us, but im sure if we did, then these teams in your own backyard are tired of hearing riverdale run their mouth year after year. but this year their cocky classless attitude caught up with them...so i hope you all can donate those "1 for the thumb" shirts that ya'll were selling to goodwill or salvation army, or maybe the local car washes need some tire towels. so this saturday when your at home not used to the feeling you all have put so many others through just remember your 28-1 and you got you butts handed to you by a BETTER OAK RIDGE team.
