1. Stephanie Evans. Won state and went undefeated her freshman year at FRA, but quit because the competition wasn't any good abd just played travel for her sophomore and junior years. She is now back on the team and will win state easily.

  2. QUOTE(xcmustangs11 @ Mar 28 2007 - 06:05 PM) 826425124fra boys, i was reading the paper today, and it said that davis, i assume nolan, ran a 9:45 3200. is that true?? because that is very impressive this early

No, it isn't true. He won, but not with that fast of a time. No offense to the other teams that were there, but the FRA distance team took that meet as a workout and a chance to help out the younger guys.

  3. QUOTE(mahaney @ Mar 26 2007 - 09:57 PM) 826423500/sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> ahh crap.,that's unfortunate..guess we'll see yall at sectionals then..

If you're gonna run the 1600 at that meet, it will be exciting to see you run against Patterson. See if his speed can hold up for 1600 meters like he thinks.

  4. QUOTE(uchsdecatholete @ Mar 15 2007 - 10:18 PM) 826413629etowntrack21-every1 needs to listen to this guy when he says somethin, he means it....if he says ur gonna get smoked, then ur gonna get smoked, my school n his dont add up togather, but they do work hearder than any1 that if heard, they might as well get a charter bus to take to state this year, if anyone wants to try to win state in somethin other that polevault, disc, n some long distance, id be findin out some secrets real quick cause im smart enough to shoot for pole vault this year

    Are you being sarcastic?

  5. QUOTE(gphstrack @ Mar 15 2007 - 10:20 PM) 826413631yeah. i think he is a little burned out on the 3200 after indoor season. he's focused on speed right now. get scared. how are you doing conig?

haha, I like that. 4:35 and 2:07 are both very solid times early in the year. Is he going to try and triple with the 3200, 1600, and 800 or was he just running the 800 to see what he could do?

  6. QUOTE(etowntrack21 @ Mar 13 2007 - 10:03 PM) 826410934because look who is our conference and last year we beat them except for 1 and we are better this year

Because you are the only team that can get better, right? No other team could have possibly gotten better in a year than you guys. You won last year, so that automatically means that you are going to win this year. I get it, you're right.

  7. QUOTE(etowntrack21 @ Mar 12 2007 - 08:17 PM) 826409487i mean im not saying you will stink its just we are loaded i mean we lost three people last year but got more so........... im just saying were good we have already beat db sh th at every relay ad thats hard to do i just hear from uncoi runners that noone is waiting to do anything in practise with a lack of will and want noone wil go far i mean we just have some fast peps like derek carr jake peters justin fuqua daneial wilson evrett thompson cody forbes preston intaro probably one of the fasyest bunch this side of knoxiville

Could you possibly learn how to type? Not trying to disrespect you, but it really kind of pisses me off when you don't use any punctuation at all because it makes it difficult to read.

And I know some cocky people, I myself am cocky, but claiming victory in every event in your conference (except pole vault) in mid-March is just plain ridiculous. Why don't you at least wait till the heart of the season to make ignorant and foolish claims like that next time, ok?

  8. QUOTE(thecrippler2222 @ Feb 23 2007 - 12:17 PM) 826385947also if patterson decided to double in the 16 and the 8 he could pull it off. he has the speed to win both at state, it obviously wouldn't be easy but he should have the 800 pretty much under control and with a little training could take the 16 as well

Patterson is going for the double. He wanted to be on the 4x800 to try and beat DL, but he and his coaches agreed that even with him they had about a 1% chance of beating them. And also FRA can still probably qualify a 4x800 team for state without him, so it should be more points for the team.

How does everyone feel the distance events will go at state:

    3200

    4x800

    1600

    800

  9. I didn't see FRA this weekend, but I heard they needed a massive attitude adjustment at halftime to win games against a both a poor Goodpasture team and a mediocre DCA team. They need to be tougher and more consistent to compete in 9AA.

Both games they needed serious halftime adjustments. Outscored Goodpasture 20-2 in the 3rd quarter to make it a blowout and outscored DCA like 40-21 in the 2nd half to beat them. They are a great 2nd half team, but they definitely need to play better in the 1st half if they want to compete with DL.

  10. You say that this is one of the best if not the best in AA.....and it was even better last year. They swept the Region but ran into two Big Time Teams in Liberty Tech and Bolivar.....I don't know about your rankings, because MLK beat CPA real bad and I know CPA didn't have Zeke, but MLK put it on them even though they are a one man team.

When you are missing one of your best players and by far your best big man, it's pretty hard to contend with an athletic team like MLK. And being a one-man team, I can't trust MLK to be a good team above the others. Because if Gerald has a bad game or gets in foul trouble, then they are absolutely screwed.

  11. Did MLK's coach shake hands with FRA after the game? He has a habit of that especially following losses.........

I didn't really look for that, sorry. I think he shook hands with the coach, but I don't know about the players.

  12. With 3 starters hampered by injury and sickness and a 4th starter benched for the 1st quarter for disciplinary reasons, FRA was able to beat MLK at their place. Now, is this a sign of an overrated MLK team? Or was FRA severely underrated coming into the year?

  13. I believe i called it...clabo runs away with it. congrats. "kp doesn't run 52 or anything" didnt exactly hold up. couldnt hang, thats two for gatlin. however i was impressed with Coniglio at 4th. good job man. i wont bother talkin trash, but im goin with thee same thing happening in the 3200. clabo refuses to be stopped.

You're right. Since Patterson only got 6th, his 400 time dropped 5 seconds. You said that no one in the race could run a 50/51, and all they said was Patterson could run close to that. Apparently, you didn't catch that. But i'm not gonna lie, Clabo impressed me. Coniglio also surprised me when he went out at 5:15. Can't blame you though, you heard about all the kicks from everyone else and di what you could to try and make sure it didnt come down to that last 400. That was a nice race strategy. Anyway, i think CLabo will win the 3200 easy with Johnson winning the 1600 and Patterson in the 800.

And stealth, a Frayser guy was also the top returning CC guy from last year, so that doesn't really mean a lot.

  14. We are coming to watch our classmates run tomorrow, but I can't remember where exactly the course is. Directions would be appreciated. I will be coming down Old Hickory Blvd. from the I-65 exit.

    Thanks!!

Just go all the way down Old Hickory towards Highway 100, and its on the right right before u get to HWY 100.
