on the off season we would do all of our workouts and conditioning doring the class. the rest of the week we would go practice
Hey man you got msn messenger? That sounds like a really good way of running things it would be nice if we could get into a system like that but you said it was a credit would they grade you on your performance or what?
-
evert thr we would have studyhall for about an hr to catch up on any work. then we would pay $5 a person for all the pizza we could eat, and watch some college football. it was a good time to spend with your team and get to know them it was a blast
What would you do through the rest of the week like workouts and conditioning?

Greeneville High Head Football Coach Mike Zeller has been relieved of his coaching duties after eight seasons.
Director of Schools Dr. Lyle Ailshie confirmed the decision Friday evening.
Zeller will continue to teach at GHS.
A search for his successor will begin immediately.
Any ideas who it will be?

Yes, questionable. Myself and everyone from morristown(east & west) all know too well how hard it is to come to GV and get a fairly called game and last night was no different. GV had a guy try to hit our center and he put the GV player on the ground and they ejected him. GV had 1 flag against them and we had at least 6 and every flag either negated a big gain or kept a GV drive alive. Crying about not having your QB is silly, he should have kept his mouth shut from what I hear and he would have played last night but oh well.
You forgot to mention the center punching our player once he was on the ground...

You must've missed my prediction on the Elizabethton game.
You guys are decent, but a little small up front and young. Hence my pick.
I probably did because this is the first time I've been on in a while, but our lines should do pretty good on Friday.

Cherokee has too much up front on both sides.
I like the Chiefs by a score or two.
Yeah thats what you say about all of our games

Predictions?

Greeneville looks REALLY thin. And where was Greenway? Morristown East looks like they could be the contender to West; interesting to see what kind of offense they will use.
Greenway sat out with a groin injury, nothin serious just not taking chances. And East didnt do much against us, they only scored when they were 15 yards out after a turnover, they werent able to move the ball much more than that
-
I couldnt find it but does anyone know the results?
2-0 SHHS
They scored on a long pass play on the first series of the scrimmage and on a defensive touchdown against the second team. The Greeneville offense moved the ball well, just made mistakes close to the endzone and couldnt get in. The defense played pretty well except for a few plays, it was a pretty good scrimmage.

Well...I don't know if Science Hill is looking really good or Greenville is good, but not the caliber of SHHS. Of course scrimmages are a poor measuring stick for measuring a football team. SHHS whipped GHS 3 touchdowns to 0. With of course all 1st, 2nd and 3rd strings playing on both sides. But, when the 1st team played on both sides, SHHS controlled the game. But, I will say #88 for Greenville is a top-notch football player. He is big and fast middle linebacker!
Lookout Dobyns-Bennett, I believe Science Hill is going to challenge you for the title this year! Good luck and injury free to all!
First off it was 2 touchdowns, one of which was defensive against our 2nd team, the other off of one big play on the first series of the scrimmage. Greeneville was not whipped at all, in fact we moved the ball quite well against you guys, we just missed our shots at the endzone and our defense stood strong most of the scrimmage only giving up a couple big plays. Science Hill is a pretty good team and I wish you guys the best of luck this season

We scrimmaged Tennessee High tonight.
Varsity-GHS 1 THS 0
JV-GHS 1 THS 1

Good luck against Anderson Co.
Be sure to tell us how the August 4th scrimmage goes.
Will do, and thanks for the support!

Greeneville has very few players coming back, but does have a two way standout in Danny Bannach that will probably be the best player in the game.
Still, after talking with him, I feel that Greeneville's probably going to start off the season on the short end of the stick....so I'd go with Anderson County.
We might not have many players coming back but we do have a lot of players that have worked their butts off all summer long and have the heart to win football games we arent going to lay down for anybody

Aug. 25...whats your predictions?
-
I think AC will have to find out who their playmaker will be. AC has some potential at all the skill positions.
How does AC look up front?
-
1T(#1 Seed).Daniel Boone(5-2)
1T(#2 Seed).Morristown East(5-2)
1T(#3 Seed).Volunteer(5-2)
1T(#4 Seed).Cocke County(5-2)
1T.Cherokee(5-2)
6T.David Crockett(1-6)
6T.Morristown West(1-6)
6T.Greeneville(1-6)
Are you serious? Mo-West and Greeneville at 1-6? A five way tie for 1st with Cocke County and Volunteer making the playoffs? How did you get these picks?
-
Not sure on the date, probably the 18th or 19th
My bad, the scrimage is this Friday at Science Hill
