  1. Jaynes: Let your running do the talking, and don't brag about how you are going to beat people badly, whether in your division or not. If you do the training, just go out there with respect and show everyone what you can do. It's that simple.

Also, my mile will be much improved since I was iron deficient these past 2 seasons (thus the debacle the last month of track in workouts and short races plus the fast freshman mile but not much improvement the past 2 years). My speed is much better now than before, but of course the mile will not be my focus. You may beat me and I wish you the best. Just go out there and run the races, though. We'll all applaud your efforts, but most of these guys won't like you saying that you are going to whip them.

On another note, I am still not able to run with the foot injury, but my plan is to hopefully get up to 90-100 miles a week as soon as possible in preparation for the US Junior 8k race in February (getting top 6 and qualifying this year may be out of the cards as Bumbalough, Macnamara, Bethke, Acosta, etc. will all be there, but there's always next year!). I love the 8k and 10k so much, as my whole family (myself included) has no footspeed. I'll run big, out-of-town meets for the two-mile, and I'll look forward to Jaynes helping me get faster in the mile in local meets. I probably still will never be able to break 2:05 in the 800, but that's okay. All those guys mentioned, though, have a chance to go below 9:15 in the deuce, and some I know are shooting for sub-9 and elite times nationally. TN is on the rise, and I hope JJ will be able to help the state rise even higher in the mid-distance. Heck, the whole country seems to be on the rise as guys aren't afraid to do what worked so well in the 60's and 70's--over 100 miles a week and running fast (although Nelson and his 140 miles a week and Lindgren's 200+ is just crazy). Well, it's bed time. Good luck to all in winter training!

hey todd...i look forward to racin u this year. ull kill me in the 2 mile but hopefully u'll push me to a faster time. im not gonna get anywhere if i nvr race anyone who can run in the 9's. srry about ur foot. i gotta the same thing goin on but a possible stress fracture so i doubt ill be runnin again until late feb. but i def. wont be doin 100+ weeks. i nvr went over 45-50 in the summer for CC. im thinkin more of about 20-30 miles a week.lol. id rather do speed work most of the time. i worry most about the 800 and mile and it seems to work ok. but good luck this year and i hope the injury recovers. peace out

  2. in what universe? NO ONE in the past decade besides Bumbalough or maybe, maybe secoya hodge could beat GJ, NO ONE- and personally it think GJ is a tool; most? hmmm, sorrel, smalling, hannah, berry, and devinne ALL better, last time i checked he not was all south at FL nor the number 1 returner for next year, also clay adams is clearly a better runner as is alex harris

these r ppl ive nvr raced in track there juha...u better check ur stats cause the only one i raced was smalling in the mile....man, who won that race. thats right....JJ. he beat me in CC but track is a whole different thing.

  3. how bout u guys bring it in track. prove ur the best distance team by taking over the 32 and 16. and after guys like russell, pair, jackson, and wolfe rape u in those u can stop talking about how it was the courses fault. or do yall have hills in ur tracks over in east tn or somethin. u might b able to take the 4x8 again cuz ur the only team in the state that has ur best guys running it but thats nothing to b proud of. every other decent team in the state has their number one 800 guy runnin the 1600 so u really should win it. i mean last year MLK had an incredible 4x8 team that probly couldve tooled yall around. everybody in middle tn knows that. but they didnt cuz they knew the way to win state was to have romell triple which he did very well and have murphy go for the 400 which he won and have connor run the open 8 which he also did very well in finishing just behind romell. so when yall start talkin ur trash about winning the 4x8 last year no one cares. u didnt even have the best a/aa 4x8 in the state and most people know that

how r u gonna say we didnt have the best 4x800 team in the state. we had no competition and me and david did enough to win. we both couldve ran faster if needed. and in case u didnt kno my rib was snapped in half last year at the state meet. yea 1:58 with it broken...a 4:37 was also put up while i was injured. i dont think ya can talk sugar to me. if gj wants a race ill give it to him. he a dang good runner, ill admit that....i dont kno whether ill beat him seein as ill have 3 miles on my legs but ill try. and chill out with russell and them rapin ppl...theyll be raped by me, jj. none of them have the footspeed i have and if they cant beat me at a 3 mile race. they have no hope for 2 mile, mile, and 800. i mean lets get serious..JJ and GJ will be the only ones in AA rapin

  4. iight guys this is JJ. my name got blocked on here so ill let this guys do the talkin for me. but i will say the only 2 im talkin trash to is the ? guys/girls....stealth and congilio, im not sayin im gonna let u win but im not out to get u. although i will be runnin the 3200, 1600, 800, and possibly on a 4x400 team if we can get 2 other decent runners. see u guys on the track and good luck to congilio and stealth. peace out

  5. Well, he is a par'ful black man. He shouldn't need to know who we are because he could just will himself to victory over us white boys.

I think the question marks are for the (i wish i could beat JJ club). you kno hes gonna thrash u all. im sure hed be more than happy to will himself a victory. just tell us who u r. let me tell JJ about the ppl he should laugh at after the race. and hes like 3/4 white so dont make that ur excuse...
