Upperman won by how much im not for sure MC post play is just so pathetic and the point guard got to give the ball up and quit worring about being leading scorer.

I get sick of this, this was the same thing that was said the last time RBS beat Lafayette, "we had a bad shooting night"! Give RBS some credit, beat me once shame on you, beat me twice shame on me! Apparently its not to hard to see that it is no fluke! Dont get me wrong, I have alot of respect for Lafayette and they have a better team than I thought they would, but you have to give credit where it is due! But anyways tennisguy, I didnt steal nothing from you, thats something I have said for along time and I have a few more if you would like to hear them! As for your comments toward me, if you knew me, you would know they dont amount to a hill of beans to me, because I know who you are!!!!

 

As for the game, Holly Compton had a great game and she really caught on fire from the 3-point line in the second half! She is really a special player! And no one said anything about the refs deciding this game, cause they didnt, they just made a situation where it could be alittle closer! RBS was up by 14 with 5 mins to go in the 3rd when Leonard, Jordan, and Rich were all whistled for the 4th fouls real quickly and all the fouls were picky, nothing harsh, and thats what I didnt like, they was letting Lafayette get away with the same things on the other end! I dont ask refs to be perfect, its impossible, I ask them to be consistent!! As far as the game goes RBS won, thats all that matters!!! Good Luck to Lafayette!!!!

You even make excuses when RBS wins well I guess RBS didnt Shoot the ball well tonight and still just won by 2 points. RBS played some good defense during this game by 1 shutting down MC best spot up shooter by going to the bathroom with her and 2 by keeping a lot of pressure on the ball while bringing it up the floor. RBS had every chance to blow this game out of proportion but MC kept on fighting and never gave up. RBS probably deserved to win this game even though I believe this was the sorry first half Ive seen MC play all year. But putting everything aside RBS won and MC lost and well just try to get them at home on Jan. 27th.

Was MH as bad as HS. From what I heard on the radio if these 2 teams played it would be a high scoring affair.

wow sounds like it was a good one any idea how Brown and Hembree did in this game.

They were good in AA and now they are in single A, which means the other should be worried. Jim Brown has those girls ready to play in every ball game and that will never change. Jim Brown is the legend and will continue to be. I feel sorry for Clarkrange by putting them in their district.

No need to feel sorry for them you all just better hope that you dont choke nobody else is really expected to beat JC but if they do JC could consider this year a failure JC just better win the stat or all JC fans will be very disappointed.

You need to follow something else mcfollower. As offended as you are about my posts, I'm even more offended that you think I'm from Hermitage Springs! The best thing they could do to that town is consolidate and build a better road through there to get to Dale Hollow. I don't have a team, I'm a fan of the game of basketball. I compliment people when I see fit and I give criticism when I see fit. I have watched people post on here for a long time now, just laughing about how lame some of these posts are. By the way MC, lets talk about your team. Your girls are the cellar dwellars of 7AA and your boys have been in mired in mediocracy probably since you were born. Like I've stated in a previous post, the only thing that keeps Lafayette from being totally like Red Boiling Springs and Hermitage Springs is that you guys have a Wal-Mart which is probably the nicest building that most people in that town has been in.

Hey fantasia its not just any walmart its a SUPER WALMART. You talking about our boys basketball team we have all ways been an up and down team that goes through huge slumps when they for example 85-86 state tournament got beat by Obion county(Cannon Whitby) 86-87 sub state got beat by Waverly then there were several bad years then we had some fairly good teams in 95-96 sub state got beat by MLK 98-99 got beat by Marshall county (Marcus Hayslip) and to now were struggling again. We may have gotten beat in these games but Im sure you could have done all of this on your own. As for our girls this year the only reason there on the bottom right now is because we havent played Cannon county or Dekalb county we have been in every game we have lost this year and we will be a team that will not want to be played in the first found of district play. Im going to take up for the RBS people on here all you want to do is get on here ride RBS why because they have a little more talent this year than usual and hey give them a little room to brag they got a pretty good team this year and want to and want to boast about it hey thats fine (but MC will getem in the RBS tourney) . As for saying you dont have a team I would consider you a fence rider I even bet you have jumped on the USC band wagon as well. But hey just keep on posting I love to argue with somebody thats name is FANTASIA.

I say MC by 7 but who knows with MC playing the way they are.

it almost makes me sick to my stomach to see the shape of macon's boys team....they definately do not live up the traditions of macon county basketball. macon has never had just blown people out with athletic talent but the teams in the past have just had that knack of knowing the game of basketball and doing the things it takes to win. u learn that by putting the hours in on the court to develop the intuition it takes to get that little something extra that it takes to win the big ones....i wonder how many hours these boys have put in extra (i mean besides practice) to develope thier skills? by the looks of things, not much at all. sometimes playing hard, which these kids do, just isn't enough.

This is the way its been in lafayette for the past several years you should know that i have a good feeling i know who u are. Macon county has always been up and down if im not mistaken lafayette made the state in 85-86 and substate in 86-87 and were horrible for several years then they made the substate in 95-96(I believe you were a member of this team) and made the sweet sixteen in 98-99 ehich is the same as substate. Macon county will rise again but it just may be a few years but im hoping it will be sooner than later.

I heard that MC won by 4 or 5 points...I also heard that MC was up by 14 at one point and Westmorland came back and come with in 2 points...

ur right mc had every chance to blow them out of the gym but weve got a guard that tries to take over the game and shes not capable of doing that we need to slow the ball down when were up by 14 and quit taking shots off the first pass when were up by that much if shell just slow the game down and get everybody else involved mc will do great.
