  1. Abby Jo from AC was good, but she's gone. From LC-Sarah Vaughn + From Clinton-Alicia Brown are the BEST in this area and around the state for that matter! I have seen enough from both of them to know any ball hit anywhere close to them will be caught or stopped. I would love to have both of them on my team!

  2. I dont know murray i would say i would be more intimidated by 75 people screaming and yelling then 250 just standing there. Congrats to the boys and if youll need some new chants you can watch our girls game thursday at noon. OS student section is the most creative and loudest student section in east tennessee easily. The Creatures will be out in strong form, with lots of paint

  4. No i wasnt in the student section, cause well I'm not a student. I was however at the game and could see the section easily. I don't think you'll had 250 cheering students but I do think for the ones that did cheer did a good job. Need some new chants though. Good student section, but not as good as ours.

  5. Starting 5:

    Brooke Johnson - 5 Seymour

Marissa Hensley - 4 Jackson County

Katrina Beechboard - 3 Livingston Academy

Megan Thompson - 2 Livingston Academy

Laura Hall - 1 Oliver Springs

This would be my starting 5, they would be hard to beat!

    Anyone agree/disagree?

    I disagree. :) Thompson 1 and Hall 2. B)

i would like to see thompson and hall to run almost a combo guard break. Whoever had the best outlet feed from the post to take it and run. Sort of like when clinton had dye and shepard at the one and two. Whoever got the outlet went with it.

  6. Personally I would prefer the leader at the guard, particularly the point. A solid point guard is like a coach on floor. Laura Hall outscored Alcoa in the first half: 28-26. I think Jennifer Smith hit two big threes from the corner. Does anyone else think that the student section got to Alcoa? It seemed to me that some of their players played more attention to us at times then the game. And I won't mention them flipping us off.... :D

  7. There were tough calls going either way, although the non call on Laura Hall was a a tough one. I have seen a lot of games this year, KIL, Nashville area, Tri County area, and it seems that in close games with a couple minutes and less on the clock the refs seem to swallow the whistle. But to criticize these two refs is rough. I was dissapointed that there were only two refs for a game of this calibur. Three refs can't catch everything so I doubt two could catch half. The technical on coach wright was a touch call during a critical time of the game. It makes me wonder that if the student section and the fans on the left side of the gym (especially the guy in the orange cap) wore on him. But it was an amazing game with two really talented and well coached teams.

  8. Jacketman05,Lemme get this right all of your "bench warmers" or aka the "B-Team" is a whoppin 3 people?! those three must be very TALENTED to be able to withstand a beating such as the one described earlier!although OS has enough class not to score 100pts on a team no matter how good or bad they may be!!!!
