Waverly and Sycamore are playing. We got 3 inches of snow but the roads are clear now.

Maybe that 3 inches of snow will slow down Sycamore for Harpeth's sake lol

Cheatham vs Harpeth is still on no girl's JV I'm not sure if there is boy's JV

ok a bit of helpful info b4 someone asks even though cheatham co. schools are out 2morrow the Cheatham/Harpeth game is still on that is straight from Coach Johnson himself that is JV and all they all start at normal times

As someone who has no ties to DL i was at the DL vs CPA game the other night and IMO CPA's student section was louder and they were the away team. This wasn't b/c i was sitting closer to them b/c i was closer to DL's student section. DL had a lot of ppl but only about 10 ppl cheered. If you wanna hear a good student section come to Harpeth. It's not the best in the state but it's better than DL

I think he did Killa. At least he's not with the rest of the peanut gallery holding the doors to the back hallway open to get some relief from 'the oven' as captured in the bottom photo. When Harpeth changes mascots, I think the gym needs to be renamed 'the oven'.........

For anyone who didn't see the Trey Caruthers dunk the other night here are 2 different angles of it:

I wish i has a camera for 2 reasons tonight. 1 being the posterizing dunk by Trey Caruthers which put that kid on his butt and the second reason is because we saw the district MVP in action: Mr. Scott Newton. Several times he made Jake West's defense look lack-luster at best I'm not sure how many he had but the main thing is Jake West still can't play with Harpeth. So I say Jake West is far from the MVP.

With a win tomorrow night Harpeth's magic number to clinch the district title would go to 2 with 3 games to go UNLESS they beat Cheatham Co. (who gave them their lone loss). If that happens then they are the district champs by virtue of what they've done against every other team in the district.

Well i understand it but Harpeth has four district games left. We have Stewart Co., Cheatham, Mont Cent, and Sycamore so we have to will 3 out of 4?

I think this game will be a better game than most think. SC had Harpeth were they wanted them last time until Harpeth had a run to end the 2nd. I think West and Lancaster will step it up and we might see OT

IMO the difference maker is the man that is on the CoachT home page banner, Mr. Chase Baker. Harpeth has SC's number and the home court advantage of Harpeth is just too strong. The Indians have been playing with a fire under them since Christmas break. I'm not saying it's gonna be a blow out but I am picking Harpeth by atleast 10

Now I'm just a lil curious about how many career wins for players is a lot. I was wondering if the number is around 95 or 100 or is that farely common. The main reason i wonder is b/c the senior class of girls players on the Harpeth High Lady Indians will probably have somewhere around 100 or 115 by years end.

Sycamore beat Creekwood tonight by like 10 or 11, im not sure bout the score. Sycamore came out strong in the beginning of the game and had bout a 13-15 point lead. They seem to slack off in the second half and Creekwood cut to it to 9 but Sycamore hit a couple of free throws. But the defense was the key again to Sycamore's victory tonight.

 

Their next game is friday at home against Mont. Central, which will be a blow out.

I broadcast for AM 1060 in Waverly. It is the sister station to 790 WQSV in Ashland City. You might have heard me broadcast last year. I did the Sycamore girls game and the Harpeth girls game in the region tournament for your guys. They were sick. We had a lot of compliments. I enjoy doing it for the kids and I try to make it fun.

And why wouldn't you think that Mullinax would be in a beauty pagaent? She is a beautiful young lady. It is the Ms. Tennessee pagaent that was planned long before schedules come out.

If she's the blonde chick that was #3 in JV I would have to agree with that statement don't worry I am a student not some 40 year old pervert

KTK 11; easy big fella. If I remeber correctly HHS did beat CW both match-ups. HHs won by 20 the first meeting but only lead by 3 to start the running of circles in the 4th Q. Credit HHS for big comeback when CW was up by 7 without Darden to start 4th in 2nd game. Richardson was fresh after susp. and was the difference. HHS won both games and deserve the credit, but Coach Tom and the Lady Red Hwks are having a good season and they do have exp defeating HHS in 06 district tourney. I know i was just stating the fact that if Richardson wouldn't have been out Creek Wood probably wouldn't have been leading. Creek Wood is a good team and Waverly is better than their record shows but niether team is an elite team in this district. That doesn't mean they can't beat one. example: Mont Cent over Cheatham

It's not a matter of can it's a matter of when they will beat them same for when Sycamore and Creek Wood will beat them also.

As a Harpeth fan I am worried about this Wavo team they do have talent but it's gonna be tough without their leading scorer. By the way, Harpeth has already beat Creek Wood twice and the only reason it was close the 2nd time was because Salem Richardson did not play the 1st 3 quarters the !st game was a blow out and Harpeth really exposed Creek Wood for the out of shape team they were Harpeth ran circles around the red Hawks in that game. I think you can take Creek Wood off the soon to beat Harpeth list. Now Sycamore, that is more likely but that is Harpeth's Senior Night and the seniors won't let that happen on their last regular season home game. District title that might be a different story.

Well I'm almost possitive it was on the updated Harpeth schedule. I have the old one but that is what we have been hearing at Harpeth for 2 months now.

I heard it was going to be at Cheatham for Districts. Now, I'm not definite about that, but I am definite the Regions are in Waverly. That is a fact. Every other year.
