well hello to you milo, 81bulldog, seantn and the rest of the smyrna gang... it ain't to fun to have to listen to a blaze loss while you are in VERMONT...i don't want to do that again for sure... i have not seen the video yet...but from what it sounded like...all of the above was true for the bulldogs... i told someone on the phone after the game...sounded like smyrna was to big...and too fast...they ran the ball very sucessfully on a very good defense...they kept mathers in check and stoped several breakaway runs by coming out of no where to chase him down...no other team had been able to do that all year... i had a great time on here...especially poking at the 3 guys above...but i knew this would be a tough game to win because of the size and speed and execution of smyrna...but as the week progressed...i had to bring my verbal A game up a notch...LOL... congrads to smyrna...i sincerely hope you win it all...you have the talent and coaching to do just that! i'm really glad for matt williams...he has been nothing but wonderful with my two oldest boys...hope you win it all! if anyone sees him though...tell him in his face that i am still the better turkey hunter... to the blaze...what a great season...or great last two seasons...21-4 over the last two years and 2 of those losses to smyrna...the thing i loved about this team is that we played better than we were...so many questions about the oline, QB and corners and wideouts at the start of the season...and all three of these areas played at a very high level as the season progressed...another great job of coaching by shad...he is certainly one of the best in getting the most out of who he has to work with...and motivating and loving on the boys! time to move on to wrestling with my 9th grader and basketball with my 3rd grader... you and your post continue to shame the rest of the riverdale faithful... alot of guys are not liked by others on here...BUT YOU ARE # 1 ON THE LIST OF BEING DIS-LIKED by posters/ supporters from there own team... angry...cynical...bitter...pissed...sour...come on...lighten up ... if you go back and read all your post...you are wound tight...ALL THE TIME... you'll be dead one day and you would not want the rest of us to think about you with the descriptions above...would ya??? show us a gentler...softer...more thoughtful...side of mr. warrior...

Yep...really! I've only missed 2 games in 6 years... i was looking forward to see you and milo and seantn before the game... dang it! but at least it won't be my boys last game and i'll get to see him next week...

allright...time to confess up why i took the gloves off in my previous post...see above...I AM IN VERMONT AND I WILL NOT BE AT THE GAME TOMORROW NIGHT...so give me a little grace for being cantankerous... dang it...scheduled this work 8 months ago...and never thought about 3rd round of playoffs...off course...i have not had to worry about it over the the 6 years i've had boys at blackman... i'm sick i won't be there... i'll be listening via the internet... GO BLAZE!

riverdale is good...but they just happen to play in a district that was ranked 8th toughest in the nation...and smyrna now ranked # 33...blackman # 51...and oakland about #100...and they are the youngest team in terms of starters in our district...and they took oakland to overtime...triple overtime and blackman won in a shootout by 1 point...that is why they ended up 4th...but easily could have ended up much higher with the right bounce of the ball...i am sorry to tell ya...riverdale will win by a bunch...not sure who # 6 is...and that was a great single hit...but he and the other 10 better bring a whole sack of these kinds of hits to just keep it close...problem is...most of your guys will be hitting the wrong guy as they try to figure out who has the ball in the wingT machine...BOOM...whoops...he ain't got the ball...

hold it now...i NEVER SAID yall were lucky to win the district title... good gracious...don't get that started on here... i actually always said that smyrna was the most talented team we played all year... and that it was going to be a great game...and end in overtime... and...that "he'll be coming around the end when he comes... " you sound like bobby bowden's son or riverdaleman's cousin...always making the opponent sound like superman plus spiderman plus the hulk all in one... but you ain't far off...

i was just responding to LOD's question as to who would people be pulling for to reach the state finals??? i don't think you have your hands full right now with OR... they will be full the next game...but i know yall can pull it off... we certainly do have our hands full this week...

blackman and riverdale in the big dance...shootout # 2...

the reason he won is because it was last year's version of blackman and this year's version of smyrna...the xbox makers got there thingy wrong...so mr. mathers was sharing time with two other guys...our defense did not have 10 senior starters...and our oline was not the mean machine they are now...what he did not tell you was that in the game smyrna was up by 4 points with 38 seconds on the clock...i had the ball on blackman's 40 yard line...i handed off to mr. mathers...huge hole on the right side of the line...he goes untouched and is at the smyrna 10 yard line with no one within 10 yards of him going in for the score and his generator ran out of gas which cut the electricity off in his trailer...game over! but we both knew how it would have ended...

riverdale took the day off today...to cold and windy to risk the majority of the team getting sick before friday...game is in the bag so coach A told the boys to go home...get some hot coco and cuddle up and watch sponge bob or play some xbox... riverdale 63 oak ridge 28

no need for dnj facts...that would ruin a good story... but just because it happened in the past does not mean it is the same this time... personally, i think it is someone who knew what might have happened in the past with smyrna coaches who are trying to set our present coaches up...it's a full fledge set up...YEP...we are being set up...

come on 2P...can't keep livin in the past... one week it's two kids from smyrna in a pick up on midfield... the next it's spray painting on our practice field... you know our coaches would not do this... this is how rumors get started...

FYI: today on the blackman practice field were the words in spray paint, "patton and thompson are soft preppy's" (but they spelled preppy wrong...so you know it had to be someone from smyrna... ) " L J who?" and "I Train gets 90 yards"... ding...ding...it's on!
