  1. I'm.gonna miss this group of seniors. Best ever. Good luck with everything in the future boys. You'll always be a part of the Tribe.

Now, I cant believe how some of you Maryville people call us classless. Everything we did last nihht is a part of our tradition. Just like your team walking through the stands or running through the banner on the field. So we were just doing what we do. Just like you do. Our band is awesome so no reason to dosrespect that progrqm either. Don't expect any respect frpm me because you've won all those championships. You guys put your pants on just like we do. I think we should have won last night if not for the turnovers. And deep inside you guys know you dodged a bullet last night. It was aweful quiet on your side when it was 27-20. Wasn't it? DB should have walked out woth a big fat WIN!!! But I will say good luck the rest of the year. Looks like you caught a break with Siegals QB going down last night. Like you needed it. Anyway, Foreman and Swafford backed up what we said all week dolidnt they? I think Swafford might have had some recruiters looking last night. Oh well, thanks for a great season Indians and ROLL TRIBE ROLL

Hey dude, it is like this ... all those STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS were not voted on. I really do not require the respect from someone such as yourself. You do not have enough mental capacity to understand that you do not practice your traditions at someone elses house especially when you have been told not too. Why don't you just go watch some basketball or the band. I will say that 99% of your fans were very nice and it is unfortunate that yourself and a select few others from up there made all this pregame stuff so mean spirited and you are DISRESPECT in itself. I was really hoping on meeting you and ART last night but that did not happen.
  2. My heart and prayers go out to these young men. Only ones that have played, know the time, the work, and the sacrifice, that goes into being the best you can be.......and I hate it when kids put that effort into it, and injury keeps them from finishing. I know #39, and hold him in high regard, not only as a player, but as a young man......best wishes to him.

Thanks Jake , that means a lot.
  3. Nice win REBELS B)

Hope all is well with #39, sending up our prayers

Safe travels home for the all DB fans.

Wow what a ball game that #23 had, lights out. The first TD run was awesome, just glad our big slow back was able to outrun DB"s world class speed.

Very obvious our game plan was to let them pick up first downs but do not give up the big play. GQ and company did a great job.

    Thanks REBELS5STAR WE APPRECIATE IT.
  4. For what it's worth, Siegel quarterback Brent Stockstill left tonight's game against Riverdale with a possible ACL injury. Was on crutches on the sidelines after the injury.

This is truly a tough one for this young man and his team. My son went down as well tonight with a possible ACL injury. Prayers out for stockstill that he maybe restored and that no other players for the remainder of the playoffs and championship games be seriously injured.
  5. Great news Indians fans. I have been to the "Skeeter" today.....and guess what?

There is NO RESERVED SEATING on the Home Side for Playoff Games!!! Wow!!! Why not?

So, both sides of the stadium are wide open to first come first serve.

    Roll Tribe Roll

Ok , I'll bite , why would you act so disrespectful to a host community? I guarantee you one thing , no MARYVILLE fan would even consider employing such an action. You will enter the visitor gate and then if there is over flow you can get what is left or stand on the fence, trust me this is your best option. I would expect more class from someone from Tennessee and especially from a place where Coach Ted Wilson coached , but I can see that I would be mistaken. There are no life guards on duty , swim at your own risk. :thumb:

  6. I know looking at common opponents doesn't mean a whole lot. When you do look at common opponents, the scores are very similar. DB has scored a lot of points this year. Many have accused DB of running the score up. That has not been the case. In the three games where they scored over 70, the starters were out by the 2nd qtr. If I was a JV player fighting for playing time, I would run the ball, block, etc. as hard as I could. I think it would have been more insulting to those teams if DB just took a knee in the 3rd qtr for four straight downs. You have to play teams that are in your conference. You just can't help the disparity in talent level. DB scheduled non-conference games and beat those teams pretty badly- Farragut and Sevier County.

    aHHH.
