You also stated that you have'nt talked to the coaches yet? Should you be talking to the coaches about kids grades?? Just stick to talking about FOOTBALL !! Leave grades & personal matters to the kids & their parents. That was way out of line!! -

Oliver Springs & Rockwood went 10 innings tonight, with Rockwood winning 5-4.It was softball at it best!! Best of luck to Rockwood.

Please get your facts straight before you start posting names....Iam not affilated with either program, (Coalfield or Oakdale) But I do know that GREG UNDERWOOD is not that poster!!
I let him know that he got CALLED out... and he was shocked that someone thought that it was him....alot of those girls played together for Greg last summer and had a very good time.. he was as shocked as anyone that there was off field problems between the girls and had no knowledge of this before this tournament.
Not sure what you meant by playing for someone behind the fence....... Aren't we all their for our daughters!! Best of luck to all the teams left in the tournament... and best of luck to all the girls that play in the off season... that only makes our teams & districts stronger!!

Oliver Springs defeated Coalfield tonight with a score of 10-6 to clinch the district championship!!
Coalfield turned their game up tonight, but the Lady Cats bats were just to much to handle!!
Congratulations Lady Cats!! Can't wait till Monday!

It's a double elimination tournament, no one has lost twice yet, as of this morning.
Sunbright & Oneida DONE!! Oakdale defeated Wartburg tonight....Wartburg DONE!
Oliver Springs defeated Coalfield tonight 4-1, to clinch the first spot in the Region,
Oliver Springs will now wait on Coalfield & Oakdale to battle it out to see who
earns the chance to play O.S. in the championship game @ 5:00 tomorrow (5-11).

In the midst of all the negative comments toward O.S. girls I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to our O.S. Seniors!! Jennifer & Amanda I was so proud of both of you @ the JV game on Mon. Both you ladies were showing what leaders you have been for your team by being there & encouraging the girls on!! That was a real stand up effort!! In my eyes....you girls are the definition of leadership!!
And not to forget.....LETS BRING IT HOME NEXT WEEK!!!!!

Congrats to the Lady Wildcats!!! Everyone counted them out during the rough years, but they are back. Coach Tate and Coach Skiles have done a great job. They will only be losing one player so watch out next year as well. Good Luck in the District Tourney. Make us proud!!!
Are these the girls that played on the Hixon Philly's when they were 10&u 12&u & 14's ? Just curious ....

11-2 in district. Only losses were to Heritage earlier in season 3-0 and William Blount 1-0 in 12 innings on throwing error. Also lossed to Alcoa earlier in season in 12 innings. This does not count tourney pool play.
I am sure it would have counted if they would have WON..... They ALL COUNT!!!

I was not able to make it to the wartburg and oz game! how was the turn out! i'm sure it was a pretty good game!
There was a big turn out... O.S. Lady Cats have had big crowds at all their games.As I said before It took several innings before the Lady Cats could put this game away!!
The crowd @ the Coalfield home game was probaley the biggest one yet!

I am not sure about the other teams, but Oliver Springs Lady Cats are having a very good year so far.... They are leading in their district.. Way to go LAdy Cats way to step your game up!!

After the way I saw the Lady Cats play tonight @ Onedia.....They played like they were having fun.....just playing the game!! I hope those attitudes carry over throughout the week!! I have all the faith in the world in you girls.... Now just have it in yourselves!!

sunbright forfeited b/c coalfield was undefeated in the district tourney and the game had to be in tonight and so sunbright had to forfeit b/c o.s. field was underwater and couldn't play the game.so coalfield will host harriman and subright will travel to rockwood.....goodluck tigers and jackets
