Alright good point, but as I put in my post, I didnt mean any offense either. I frankly dont know what the outcome will be but I guess my oppinion was just from a fan's point of view as well. Well we should find out when we have our game....Does anyone know if we are still havin it tonight? Oh honey trust me we ALL laughed....it was one of the worst things you can do in a basketball game. Its not our fault he looked up at the score board....I was just trying to be nice. But I guess that dont go with yall over there... And Comexx, you just need to drop it. Your "Oh so wonderful, untouchable team" LOST! We won our game and our conference title. Erwin has been out of school due to all the snow and I was wondering if anyone knew about our game...are we still gonna have it or not? Dang all these gyms sound awesome...too bad I have never been to them...from what I hear, Alcoa has the nicest and most expense, but our gym in Erwin isnt too bad. I think it is one of the nicest ones in our conference. No doubt that its not as big and bad as some other schools, but in our conference there arent too many that are big enough, well lit, or just nice in general (nice bathrooms are a big plus!!!)lol... I know this thread really doesnt have anything to do with Unicoi, and I am sorry if me bringin UC into this offends someone, but I was wondering what you all thought about our game comming up on Monday??....you say that you think we will lose to you because we dont think you are a threat?... Well we have won 26 games this year to teams that have either been a threat or not. So I dont think that we will have too much of a problem with Hampton. Umm Throwing up during a basketball game....not very attractive...although I kinda felt sorry for the guy that threw up on our court right before half time...Nice going dude! I dont know if I am correct on this but I think that we will play Substate at home...but I dunno...I am just glad that we proved we can beat a Greenville team twice without missin a beat....Too bad Donahue! Well today is the day...we have been out of school for 2 days and our boys have had a chance to catch their breaths before this match up. I really dont know why we were out today, the sun is shinning and there is no snow down here but oh well....This game kinda makes me sad cause it is the last time that our 2 seniors will be playin in our gym. We are sure gonna miss Colton White, 44....Ben Hardin, 12....and even though Travis Hensley, 42 doesnt play for us anymore, not havin all of them next year isnt something to look forward to.....I hope they all play great tonight and I cant wait to see the outcome. Heak I know that is was a close game when we went over there but we all knew we would have the upper hand in this one....dang they got outscored in the 4th by the JV team...Big win for the Devils on to South Greene on Friday! Yeah thats right, THE BLUE NATION!....and the only reason you doubt us on on here is cause you dont know the outcome of what a game against Greenville would be and since we proabaly wont find out you will just underestimate us... We have a great team no matter what teams we play. We still win and play the game as good as anyone else....This is about our game against South Greene not your oppinion about us aginst AAA schools....and hey thats fine! But do it on your own posts not on here. And buddy dont diss it till you tried it. If you played us you would know that it would not be a blow out and that our boys would give you a run for your money. They dont give up. Last night, after half time, the JV starters were put in against Varsity from CD and we still beat them by more than 20! We dont get on here and run our mouths about your team's talents so you should grow up and give us some respect. The game on Friday should be a good game and with the Rebels comming to Erwin they have no chance at winning. If we beat them at their house when it was suppost to be a really tough game then the boys should have no problem shuting down their players....especially Kyle Donahue. yeah Central especially when your fans like to start fights in the stands with women during games in Erwin,remember that dont ya?? That should help your team out a lot shouldnt it? Dont mean to stir up old problems but you know I couldnt halp myself. I have been to your games against us as most of you have and you know how pumped up we get... Too bad we dont get to play you all again this year, you havent had the pleasure of being in the same gym as THE BLUE NATION... Most of these posts dont have anything to do with the game itself. The student section is meant to give support to the team and that is what Erwin does. And if you attended the Valley Game last night you would understand that...We take our support to an extra level for every game. Well I think that if you came to our school, you would notice that we have one of the craziest student sections, THE BLUE NATION, and most teams in our conference dont like comming here because of it...and we take the NATION to their schools for away games so that way we get to them no matter where we are or what they think is gonna go down. Cause no matter what, with THE BLUE NATION is always there to pull the Erwin Blue Devils through anything. We have gone all year undefeated in the conference and we are in the top five in the state. Well looks like Erwin has done it again...The BLUE NATION was bigger tonight then it has been in a long time and its support helped the DEVILS out come out with the win over Valley. We may be crazy but we know how to support our team better than anyone!!! The entire gym was standing room only and not too much of that...it made for one of the most exciting games I have been to this season. Both teams played hard and didnt give up too much...GREAT GAME TO BOTH TEAMS!!!!We got many more to come and we hope that we have as many people come to thoses games too. Well this is of course one of the biggest games for both of these teams. And to beat it all, its in the Devils Den, so whats gonna happen? Who is gonna take this one with them? The loss of Travis is a major let down for the devils but all of the team has stepped up and won the last two games without him. But with or without him, I think we will still win this game. I dont doubt that all the other top 5 teams are good but no one has even mentioned Unicoi County. We are in the top five in state and I think that we shouldnt be over looked... In my oppinion we have just as much of a chance as to get to state as anyone else does. We are a solid team with a great coach. Hope we get to see everyone in the boro soon! Cant wait for this game... I dont think anyone from Elizabethton or Erwin is gonna wanna miss this one! This week is going to be a huge one for the Devils and since T-RAV is gone everyone will have to step it up, but I think they all did a great job against Sullivan North and will stay that way this week too. All the Devils loved T-RAV and what he brought to the court....but there will be some guys who step out of his shadow and put some points on the score board for the Devils. Beno should have a GREAT game being back where he used to play and I cant wait to see him give the Devils another win over Betsy...if you come tomorrow then you should be ready for a barnburner because I dont think either team will give this one up. Well the devils have been winning all their games since Elizabethton came to Erwin a while back and are ranked 1st in the conference...How has Elizabethton been doing with their games? And how will this round between these two teams end? Will Erwin come away with their 23rd win of the season or will Elizabethton give them the first loss in the conference? Well lets hope so...but I would like to actually see a game...the game against West Greene was an obvious win but it wasnt as much fun...The Blue Nation just sat down after half time. It might have been a "blowout" but they are still our team and they were still on the court. Give support the whole time guys!!! But they soon stood up right beofe Colton got the dunk. The longhorns shouldnt be a problem but the Devils need to keep their heads in the game and keep playing smart ball. Coach English should have them another win in the basket tomorrow night.
