Yes we have three very tough games left and arent over looking any of them.
yea yall better not over look creekwood or CA. they might not look like they are good in the standings but they are lil SCRAPPERS. NO MATTER WHAT THE SCORE IS!!!!

very good game...montgomery cetral was quick and had a solid defense...first half was slow but the game picked up in the second half after central evened the score and the rain kicked in
i agree. A very good and an extremely intense game. !st half was good. But MC picked there play up in the 2nd half. Defense was solid at times. Both teams had good shoots on goal. with this 2-2 tie and if MC beats fairview this will throw an even bigger knot in the district. Good luck this week.

I hold out hope for our team. (Central) Although Sycamore is going to be tough, especially without one of our stars, I think we should make it an interesting game. Fairview too, like everyones said, the rest of this season is going to be interesting...
i agree. Sycamore should be good game espically since central will be at home playing on the hill. The 3 teams in a few day span this end of the season should be the team to watch. But from what i saw fairview isnt anything special. No offense to fairview. They are a smart team that does a lot fo smart things. They can beat you techinque wish im not to sure they can beat you with speed. But if central comes to play they can take the district. It depends which central that comes to play. They one that came to the game against heritage or the central that came against cheatam minus the red card and fouls.Cya at districts tho

Correction on the post from White House Heritage. Fairview would finish no worse than 2nd if they lose to Montgomery Central. They already beat White House Heritage and would have the lead in the head to head.
so your saying is if central wins out. Beating Fairview and if hertiage wins out. That Fairview would be the #1 seed in the tournament. or would montgomery central. I kno head to head crap in who has more goals yea i kno all that but who would be district champs.
ooo has anyone had the crap cheatam county had pulled on them as montgomery central had pulled on them. Cheatams bench came on to the field after one o centrals kids had a hand ball. they were cussing at fans who were arguing the point they had 1 extra person on the field almost the whole entire second half until the ref counted them. Then they have a kid just argue a call which in my book i thought was an automatic red card. but anyways TSSAA needs to take a handle of this going on down there because this is outragous that an offical will not take care of this let alone a coach or princpal.

montgomery central has to practice in there elementary school gym. clarksville has there own wrestling room. northeast has to share a room with there ROTC class. while rossview, and kenwood use the top of the gym. montgomery county might be in the whole so much money but they need to build wrestling room for montgomery central, and northeast. all these other skool really dont need one.

what about USA wrestling. i know there AAU. but theres only of 2 tournaments in tennessee i know about. the Pat nialen one and the stae tournament. ios there going to be more or is there no point in even buying a USA card this year.

Has anyone talked to Tom Marable yet about the TWF freestyle and greco roman schedule????? The only tournament i have seen on the list is the Pat Nailen one. Is there going to be anymore because if not thats stupid. They need to post them so kids can go some where in are state and not in like Indiana and Missouri. Dont get me wrong the talent level there is going to be a little better but we really need to get the ball rolling in Tennessee.

What "realistic" changes need to be made to our current individual state tournament?
Just a few to start the "fire".
1. Seperate Small/Large schools.
2. Stop charging coaches $25 for a hospitality room pass. Goes up every year!
2a. Don't serve left overs that you had from the previous night, for lunch the next day.
3. Give 1 tourn. parking pass to each team. $5 each time in to park is ridiculous.
4. Find a better system for clearing the gym, when the weather is bad outside.
5. Send a packet of tourn. information to each school with qualifiers, letting them know items such as where they need to enter the building on Thurs. to weigh-in without having a tourn. pass. (for Seymour)
6. Seeding criteria is terrible.
7. Double elimination? Why not?

true. but small school large school split i like. but run that tournament sooner. then send the top 3 to large school state. there could be awesome kids that win state 4 years in a row in small school. so sent them up to large school to see if they have the talent they have in small school. parking was crap. $5 a day is dumb. but seeding criteria is crap. double elimination we need it. its a gamble. everyone has good days and bad days.

Hey indiansportsfan6, those standings look pretty accurate with the exception being that you left Spring Hill off of your list. There are 8 teams in the region.
I think that the real sleeper in Region 5-3A will be the exact same team it was two years ago (Montgomery Central). Harrison will be back at quarterback and Jackson is a tremendous back/kick return specialist. Rittenhouse is about to have a great three years at MCHS. Tablack is one of the better linemen in the entire region and they were a young team in '05 that will only get better as far as numbers and experience goes in '06. Rickey Ray is also one of the better coaches in the entire region, which is one that consists of many great football minds.
1.) David Lipscomb: may be the favorite to win it all in 2006
2.) Marshall Co.: anyone playing this bunch better plan on scoring to win
3.) Montgomery Central: read the post above
4.) Creek Wood: the fourth year program shined in '05 and should do so in '06
5.) Cheatham Co.: return some pieces from this past year's playoff bunch
6.) Spring Hill: a team that should also improve in their second year in 3A
7.) Giles Co.: lost coach, quarterback, wide receiver/return specialist, and RB????
8.) Page: the Pats are falling on hard times due to the fact that there are too many schools in Williamson County.
yes i agree there in the same boat they were a few years ago. last year i think they had a good shoot of goin to the playoffs but the injury bug settled in.
harrison and rittenhouse i think should split time at QB. With harrison they can run/ pass. With rittenhouse they can just keep it eith him. jackson should have a 800 to a 900 yard season. If the injury bug can stay out of Cunningham Rickey Ray can give Marshall a run for #2. Tablack will lead the Offensive line. The youth of Central last year i think helped Cetral alot. They had a good linebacker last year that #54 kid. A lot of talent there if he matures right. Coach of the Year might go to Coach Ray.
As for Marshall County That Hightower kid hes a BEAST. Hes got size, strength, and speed. With him and there Qb back they might have a season like past Marshall Team.
I thought i forgot someone. Spring Hill. They have a very fast ruinningback who i think if he wouldnt gotten hurt week 1. he might of helped Spring Hill win some games. They Have speed, and size. They need some strength.
giles lost Tim johnson. i didnt kno that. They will be near the bottom again. They had a lot of young and speedy talent. THey Have an awesome Reciever i believe his number is 4. All know is hes FAST and has very softhands. I was told he was a junior. might of been a senior. if so he would be a very good college reciever..
creekwood will have to look to replace almostr a wwhole defense. and offense. I do believe with cheatam, giles,spring hill, and page with tryin to refuel with youth. creekwood should come together and play as a team to make it back to the playoffs. maybe another game with jackson Southside. but with a good group of returing 2nd team linemen who saw a lot of playing time. Creekwood might be a sleeper like Central.

yes cheatem is cheap. yall had that well. well when MC played them Cheatem had an extra player on the field almost the whole entire game. When ever someone got knocked over they had kids come onto the field. There coach came out and was yelling at an offical (which in my book should be automatic red card to get in the face of the offical.) they start yelling at MC coach calling them names, and were out of control. One of there players then goes full speed and knocks the crap out of are goalie and are stopper. then MC goes for a eader and cheatem up ends one of there players. OOo then near the end of the game MC had a hand ball in the box. Grant it it was a pull extension punch ball and the games not stopped. I give that call to the ref because he didnt see it. But theres not reason for the WHOLE cheatem bench getting up coming on the field yelling at the ref. IDK what TSSAA has to do with this but if they do not do something about this then more teams will get away with all the trash that cheatem does.
