Heath Harper and Kay (MARSHALL) Harper. This kid has no choice but to be good. His parents were both really good players and Ray Marshall and Holly Harper are his aunt and uncle who both were really good players. Not to mention he is just a freshman and is already 6'2-6'3. If he gets half of Uncle Ray's jumping ability LOOKOUT!

Yes it is. I agree with our student section not being very good. They just stand there and when they do say something you cant understand them. Bring back the ROWDIES!!!!!!!! BTW I have to disagree with all the bad comments concearning the officials in the girls game. It was a very physical game that was called tight. If the officials dont make half those calls then everybody is upset that they let too much stuff go on.

Besides, we're getting ready to see some very tough matchups in the 'boro. Bolivar, Liberty, Mitchell, Alcoa, Haywood are very scary. I don't know the finals of the others, but there won't be any easy games at State.

Amen Todd. This trash thing has gotten way out of hand. I heard our student section chanting(GARBAGE) to the White House players as they were walking off during halftime. Can you imagine Joe Quirks response to such nonsense?

Thanks, I would like to see him at a big school, but if he doesn't get a big school then I'd like to see him somewhere close so I can still see him play, no matter where he ends up for college, he has still had a tremendous career.

After the game he was interviewed on the radio and he said as of right now Walters State(JUCO) was his #1 choice. This is because he hasnt gotten the offer he wants and he wants to prove himself. I did see the Mars Hill coach and it was reported on VolChat that a Vol assistant was there as well.

The administration at the school that i attend has placed restrictions on the chants that our student section does. The people who go to my school will know which school i am referring to. We are no longer allowed to say "Nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts, we got screwed" after the refs make a bad call, and also now, after we've been doing it all season, last night we find out we cannot do "I'm blind, I'm deaf, I wanna be a ref" anymore because apparently its degrading (WHAT?!). this is ridiculous. come on, its called having fun and having a little bit of school spirit, which i guess we arent allowed to have any of that either. it doesnt matter what the student section is chanting, a good ref will not even listen to it, so who cares what we chant? we arent saying curse words, so there, in essence, is no problem. but however, for the rest of the season, we cannot have any more fun, apparently.

Is your school McMinn central? I hear those cheers all the time at Central games. I hope its not Central though.

My mistake, I received bad info...I just now looked at the roster on utsports.com and you're right, he is 6'2...I dunno what it it is, but he just looks bigger to me for some reason...I dunno...but anyways, we settled that matter I guess...

JaJuan is like 6'5 or 6'6, Beau is just like 6'3 or 6'4

Jujuan Smith is 6'2 with 2 pairs of socks on. Mark Riden is 6'6 and he TOWERS over Jujuan. Beau is a legit 6'3 and is way more muscular than Jujuan. Heck for that matter I am 6'3 and I look down on Jujuan.

Nobody was really acting like kids until the disgruntled Polk people started running their mouths...but newayz, you're right, Beau is better all around talent...if he had JaJuan's size, can you imagine what he would be doing??? He would be insane!!! I think if JaJuan would've had a good coach in high school, he would've been recruited by more schools because you all see what he is doing with a lil bit of coaching...

If he had Jujuans size? Beau is bigger!!!!!! Beau is a better athelete as far as running and jumping but Jujuan has the better jump shot and bettter ball handling.

Serious question (if we COULD get serious for a minute).....where is Beau Brown going to play his college ball ?.....He is by far the best player in this area (in my opinion).

Well AA rules I am glad to see we are gonna qiute acting like kids and get serious.The latest I heard about Beau is he went to Carson Newman last Sat. for a visit. The theory there is he can go D2 and be an all american where if he goes D1 he will have to share minutes. I believe it will come down to the post season. By that I mean if Central makes a run in MBORO D1 coaches will come calling. He even said in last weeks Chatt. Times he would consider Juco to prove himself. I have friend who works with his brother at Denso and his brother said Bama, Cinncinatti,UTC,and Vandy are in contact very much. He even said that North Carolina invited him to walk on. In other words who knows? Ihad a sarcastic response for your 2for1 special but since we are being serious I will save it for later.

Central is very hated...but you're right, thats good...that means we're doing great...

Hey BluNwhiteH8Tribe dont you find it funny that people from Meigs are tore down that were ranked #1. I mean dont they have Meth Labs to run? However you did hit on a point that i was gonna talk about and that is it would take an ABSOLUTE MIRACLE for Central to win the state. These people think that just because we are ranked #1 we are claiming instant victory. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I even like how you broke down each game Central would have to play to win the state. However, I disagree with the Bolivar plan, I dont think slowing the pace would help because fast pace is what Central does best. I do respect your opinion and you maybe right but do our kids even know what slow is?

??? What right does anyone from Central have to talk about football? I mean, Polk isn't great at basketball but at least they win games. Polk won more games last year then Central won in 4 years on the football field. I mean come on, TSD wins more games than you.

 

And no, the best Basketball team in this area was the '93, '94, or '95 LADY Tigers, This years Central team couldn't even beat them. As far as the fan support goes, no one else really cares who cheers for Central either. Like i said, hatred for Central is widespread.

Anyway, yes those Lady Tiger teams were great and deserve the recognition, but WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY? NEWSFLASH buddy, you have done nothing since so keep living in the past. As far as widespread hatred for Central, WHEN YOUR HATED YOUR GOOD!!!!!!! As far as the right to talk football, what gives any body from Meigs or Polk the right to talk Central basketball? First of all let me say that Coach Davis from Polk is a good coach and his numbers will prove it. The reason he struggles now is because he doesnt exactly have the atheletes that Central has. If he coached at Central there would be no change as far as success, WE WOULD STILL BE WINNING. As far as other teams in the disrict not cheering for Central, NEWSFLASH- WE DONT CARE!!!!! Central has always been the team that everbody wants to beat. Thats good because that means Central is DOMINATING 5AA in basketball and we dont need support from any body else! I find it funny that a person from Polk would say our basketball teams choke at the state tourney when their beloved football team CHOKES every year in the 1st game of the playoffs. As far as the Aaron Green Sweetwater team goes that was a great team. I would love to see that team and this years Central go at it. But if you want to argue championships, the best basketball team from this area never made it out of the region. That would be the 89-90 McMinn team when John Thomas was a senior and Ronnie Mac. was a junior. In closing, Coach Davis IS A GOOD COACHand the Chargers DONT NEED NOR WANT ANY SUPPORT FROM ANY OTHER FANS!!!!!!! GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
