Well it seems Wartburg's cocky attitudes, poor offense, and the undefeated record get in their way tonight. Both teams played awful on offense. Wartburg couldn't throw,run, or even punt and Coalfield was limited to their running game which was getting them some yards. It was Wartburgs game to lose. Crucial penalties killed them in the fourth quarter. They just didnt come to play like their record showed. Good job jackets on the hard fought win. Wartburg is still a very good team but now theyve learned a lesson. They let the undefeated season blind them and now this loss will make them see that they have to get back to playing football and not goof off and start taking teams seriously. This loss will definetly drop them from the top ten. Hopefully they can pull it together for the Rockwood game which i dont see them pulling that one out after tonight
Coalfeild had a good game plan on defence,they slowed Wartburg passing game down to almost nothing.But,Wartburg ran the ball very well 21 had around 170 yards on about 15 or 16 carries.And looked like he was limping around alot,maybe thats why thay did not run the ball more.

With this game being tomorrow, I can't believe there isn't any more talk about it than this. Last week, Ensworth beat Smyrna, a top ranked AAA team and Brentwood Academy remains undefeated.

I can see why everybody hates Sunbright. We score lots of points and have a 10-0 season. When is last time Wartburg went 10-0? Oh let me ansewr that never.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME SUNBRIGHT BEAT WARTBURG,COALFIELD,ONEIDA OR ANYONE WITH A WINNING SEASON.

I just want to know who declared the puppies #10 defense and #1 pass defense? I heard some Onida people saying they had #1 pass defense and the #1 defense. We threw the ball and ran the ball on the puppies all night long. The puppy defense was pityful.
The DOGS Defence caused 4 or 5 turnovers & gave up 8 points & you say they are pityful. What does that say about your tigers,

Sorry guys, you didn't get the attendance record in my estimation. 40+ years of Coalfield football and I would stay that the Oliver Springs and Wartburg games are always the biggest draw. They bring a lot of people and are close in travel distance. They also are the two biggest rivalries though not 1A. So no one really stays at home. Loudness? Both sides did rock. However, it is hard to clap loudly with gloves on and I saw a lot of moms wearing gloves.

WHO WILL WCMS HAVE NEXT YEAR? THAY ARE RETURNING 5 PLAYERS WHO STARTED AT ONE POINT DURING THE YEAR. IF THE COACH LETS THE SHANNON KID PLAY AND DO WHAT HE IS CAPABLE OF, HE WILL BE HARD TO STOP BY ANYONE. THEN YOU HAVE THE GOODMAN KID WHO IS A VERY GOOD REBOUNDER. THE SPENCE KID WHO IS A EXELLANT DEFENDER.AND THE OTHER SHANNON KID WHO CAN HIT 3'S FROM ANYWHERE.

SEXTON IS ONE OF THE TOP PLAYERS IN AREAII. IF HE PLAYS THE WAY HE IS CAPABLE OF PLAYING, ONEIDA WILL WIN AREAII.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT EAST TN., BUT I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYONE IN AREAII THAT HAS BEEN ABLE TO STOP HIM, WHEN HE IS ON HIS GAME. I SAW HIM GO FOR 20 OR MORE AND ALMOST BEAT ONEIDA SINGLE HANDED. AND ONEIDA IS THE BEST OR ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS IN AREAII. JAYLON SHANNON MAY NOT BE THE BEST PLAYER IN EAST TN., BUT HE IS UP THERE WITH THEM. AND HE IS ONLY A 7TH. GRADER.

YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!! A LITTLE INSIDE INFORMATION FOR YOU. CONCERINING SHANNON HE JUST TURNED 13!!!!!!! AND HAS NO PROBLEM WITH ELGIBILITY. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE COMMENTED THAT THEY THINK HE'S OLDER. MAYBE THEY SHOULD JUST GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR HARD WORK.

OK OTD,I have tried to ingore your lies. Wartburg has only 2 films. 1 is of the full game,not zoomed in like you said. 1 is of the offence only. No i am not part of the progam, but fairly close to it. So i do know, and i would say that thay are not many coaching staffs with more class than Coach Shoemaker and his staff.
