Tennessee is a very talent-dense state for basketball; it's an undeniable fact. Amid the dozens of high-D1 players who populate Tennessee HS basketball, you'd assume that picking a definitive best player in the state would leave you splitting hairs. Despite this common assumption, I feel like I've discovered a player who is so overwhelmingly athletic, absurdly precise, and freakishly determined that I can't help but drop my jaw in amazement whenever I watch him. Arthur Bennett, MBA's 6'5" Junior wing, already possesses the tools needed to dominate the NBA game. Judging from appearance, you'd never assume that the gangling, lumbering mob boss before you could yam it on five-stars, but when Coach Anglin brings him in off of the bench, a monster takes the court. Simply put, Arthur has mastered every skill in basketball. From simple to complex, menial to attention-grabbing, fundamental to creative, Bennett has it all. I'd do a deeper dive into the multitudes that Big Art contains, but it would sound more like I'm describing Michael Jordan mixed with Shaq than an actual player analysis. If you have any love for the game of basketball, I urge you to watch this god among boys in action.

Would love to see him.  Interesting because he is no where to be found in ESPN's 2022 class.  However, there are 4 other Juniors in there.  Additionally TN has three 2021 guys in the top 100 and have signed D1.

  2. Up to 6 people in the household now.  Including grandparents.  So if you have 2 sets of grandparents that would be 4 of the 6.  A local school system can also change it for less if they want to.  Sumner Co. is still not allowing teachers, since no passes are allowed.  Not even TSSAA passes.

Talked to a friend who is an admin in Robertson County.  Says in the future they will go with 2 officials for basketball he thinks.  Says also for baseball and softball for non district games pretty good chance it will be 1 umpire.  Says he thinks the executive order will last thru the end of 2021.

One umpire will NOT happen for high school baseball.  Not even non-district.  I doubt a Station Camp vs. Brentwood Or Hendersonville vs. Riverdale game for example will have one umpire.

I am hearing that teams are already starting to cancel and postpone games.  I hope for the kids sake that there will be a season, but my gut is telling me no.  My prediction is that TSSAA will let football finish up and then shut down the winter sports.  We all know that everything revolves around that sport.  Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

TSSAA is not shutting anything down.  Schools and school systems are controlling what happens.  In some cases the coach is controlling it because of losing players to CONTACT TRACING WHICH IS STUPID!!!

I read an article earlier in I assume yalls local paper, with coach Wilson. After reading it I thought that’s the kinda coach any parent or fan would want leading there program. Think he’s way more about growing them young men than he is about wins or losses.

    You have no idea.
