No, Osteen wouldn’t do it but the other people at MC would.   When the MC principal calls Giles horrible names in faculty meetings and professional development days then you never know what they might pull via administration.   

This "bona fide" change of residence rule is a big load of crap!!  Just make it a year from the last game of varsity participation and these coaches will quit trying to get kids to move and play for their school.  Look at Bishop- oh Blaine thought his kid would be better off at Indy so just up and move so he can play there instead.  It's corrupt every where.  Make them sit a year and that will keep everyone on the same line.   

Should be a little more interesting this year.  Look for middle of the pack teams to maybe sneak an upset on the top 3 somewhere during the season.

Yeah 9.  Teams need to get their scrubs in around 5 or so.  If the other team is that bad then they aren't coming back anyway.  I saw a team recently drub a team 9-0 and one girl scored 8 goals.  Why leave her in?  Then it came back on them, losing 0-9 themselves the next game.  "What goes around, comes around"  JT.

If a coach gets 2 yellows (=red) then he is suspended for 2 games and fined 250$.   How the school handles the fine is up to them.   Believe me on this.  Been there done that.

Looks like somebody left out Stratford.  

Page beat Marshall Co. 1-0 and Marshall isn't very good.  And that goal came in 74th minute.  So maybe Page is down this year.  Well, not as good as past seasons maybe.  What did Macon do vs. Beech?

21.5 points per game 3.6 assists per game 5.6 rebounds per game 4.4 steals per game

Top five in the state and total points leads the state in steals and steal to turnover ratio also these stats are without the last three games being posted yet and I know he went for 41 in one of those games if you haven't heard of him or seen him play you need to check him out. 

 

Lockett is a triple double guy

Season stats 14.3 points per game 4.7 assists per game 9.1 rebounds per game 3.5 steals per game I've seen him play many times is very good very athletic love watching him play.

So just about every district in the state has 1st round at the higher seed home site.  And then play at one site.   EXCEPT for this district which is at 1/2 then somewhere else.   Who in their right mind came up with this ludicrous setup?  

Is it TSSAA legal for high school players to play in AAU tournaments during the season?  I see several clips each weekend on Twitter showing TN boys on AAU teams.

Are the Lady Ravens for real?  They have beaten a couple of pretty good teams, but D12AAA is sad.  How do you beat a team 62-4 ?   I guess the Region tournament will tell their story.

Yes, the officiating is bad.  They are ridiculously inconsistent.   One call on one end of the court, might be different the next time.  However, it's like this in baseball, softball, soccer, and football.

I can only speak for Alcoa. We just roll the ball out and we play. We traditionally play most of the local private schools because we want good matches that make us better (Berean, Grace, CAK, Catholic, Webb). I see us continuing to do this as it helps us to measure ourselves.I don't know that anyone here on the soccer side has ever heard Alcoa complain. We have opinions, sure, but we just keep working.

That's awesome you aren't complaining.  Too bad you guys have only made 2 regions and one state in 8 years because of teams like CAK and Catholic.  Wish you guys the best and GO ALCOA!!
