I will have to agree with all 4 seymour vs gibbs games... all 4 were on the line til the end. Followed by the 6-5 11 inning game Seymour vs. goodpasture semi-final game.

No gibbs is very good at taking every extra base they can. Burchell saw an opportunity to reach 3rd and tried to take it. He wasnt going to talk to his coach, if he was he wouldnt have been sprinting to 3rd. Also they would have at least waited until the play was over.

I'll have to agree. For a region championship game, these umpires were clueless. The last inning Gibbs strikezone got huge when Seymour was hitting th en it tightened right back up . These umps were inconsistent for both teams. The thing that killed me the most, and I am sure gibbs pitchers also, is how everytime there was a foul ball the umpire just rolled the ball to you back through all that wet grass since it had rained all day. Give it to the catcher or something, come on.

Another good one between these 2 teams. I think with both winning 2 against eachother in the year is about right. Thses teams are very close and I think both deserve to be down in the boro next week. Good luck to both.

I think everyone who was there to see the first 3 games knows this one will be a 7 inning battle. I am just glad this game only means home field advantage for friday instead of win or go home. Both of these teams respect one another a ton and I am sure they both want to see eachother go to Murfreesboro. Good luck to both teams, hopefully it wont be the last time they meet.

Seymour was overlooked by everyone around except fot the Anderson County players. Both of these teams have a lot of respect for one another. Seymour jumped on on AC early scoring 2 in the 1st Cody Church had a RBI double and Fields Fouse had an infield single to score. AC got lucky to get out of that inning with only 2 runs because seymour left bases loaded. Fellin led off a later inning with a single and Drew Fox followed with a single before cody church had a 3 run homerun. Kyle Koeneman only needed one run though the way he was throwing the ball. He gave up 2 ground ball singles and that was it. Big win for Seymour and tough luck to AC, too bad both of these teams could not have advanced because 2 great ball teams.

Kyle Koeneman- verbally committed Walters State
Riley Finch- verbally committed Maryville College

Seymour (#4 in AA) vs. Gibbs (#5 in AA). Both are undefeated in district play and very similar overall records. These games will decide who gets home field advantage throughout district tournament. So who takes these games Monday and Tues. ?

Seymour finally proved all the people who doubted them who the best team in Sevier co. is. By beating Pigeon forge last night 10-0 and sevier co today 14-3, it made the total score Seymour - 47 while all others combined scored only 3. Pretty obvious to all the people that had Seymour 2nd and even 3rd on some lists to best team in county.

look buddy I'm defintely not bragging I could honestly care less I just think u would quit sayin this stuff year after year. Let the players there now earn their respect by playing. They don't need someones help u have already blown ur shot . Obv sc is improving each year but honestly no thanks to u. Good luck to all this year though
