  1. melabonz... after all that talk about the mighty pigeon forge tigers and "god" Bradley Harveston putting it on the Eagles I guess time proved you wrong finally. Seymour won 8-0 with 6 runs scored off Brad in 4-5 innings dont exactly rem when he got pulled. Too bad you cant have all the time back you wasted talking up pigeon forge because this year seymour and pigeon forge arent even in the same league of caliber of teams.
  2. Seymour gave it to PF today 8-0. Church threw a 2 hitter with 12 strikes. Harveston threw for PF and got roughed up a little.
  3. Seymour plays Halls thursday and Gallatin Friday
  4. seymour is 1-2...they have played 3 tough games in anderson county william blount and maryville...seeing good pitching in all 3 games..i dont think pigeon forge would even win a game against any of those 3 teams...
  5. Seymour went 3-0 in their scrimmages this week 15-0 over central, 6-3 over Loudon, and 6-1 over William Blount. Hows everyone elses scrimmages been going??

    Scrimmages

seymour-15 knox central-0 koeneman, church, lynam all combined for 9 in. shutout and threw a one hitter.
  11. Seymour scrimmaged Knox Central tonight in 9 innings. The final was 15-0 in the favor of Seymour. Seymour really hit it well for this early in the season but still a lot of room for improvement. Koeneman, Lynam, and Church all combined for a 9 inning shutout and a 1 hitter. Seymour travels to Loudon monday and then William Blount Wednesday.
  12. okay anyways... besides all the arguin between shsbsbll and eaglefan we play central tonite and 5:00 at Seymour. 1st game of any kind at the new field in Seymour. Still isnt completely done but good enough to play on.
  13. Well were hoping good things are gonna happen. The starting nine will be solid with a solid starting pitching staff and some guys coming out of the bullpen that will get the job done. Theres 3 seniors that all started on the 2004 state tourney team. Kyle Koeneman(2-time all state) is back and is looking to have another good season. Chase Fellin started shortstop as a freshman in state. Cody Church pitched and played outfield on the 04 team as well. All of the top 3 pitchers will have plenty of innings between them so if they can stay healthy should see good things. Hitting wise Seymour should be able to put some runs on the board but thats easier said than done. Hopefully will be peaking at the right time and everyone will be playing to their potential when tourney time rolls around. Baseball is a crazy game though so we'll see what happens.
  14. Seymour travels to Anderson County opening day. This game is quickly becoming a rivalry game. Last year Seymour had the lead going into the bottom of the 7th and both times Anderson Co. was tough enough to put together enough runs to get the win. Good way to open the season for both teams.
  15. Tyler cannon always found himself positioned on the mound in big games.. When he was on the mound there was really no need for too much defense. The reason Harveston has been so good is because he has never had to throw against a real good team because when cannon was there he would always get the call in that sort of game. Harveston still has a lot to show before he is a dominant pitcher and it cant be big wins against the greene's an claibornes or whatever.
  16. sounds like replacing those seniors will be a little tougher than those PF people thought??

    Best fields?

Give Seymour 1 more year and it will be real nice.. it looks like a completely different field from last season and it was already pretty nice.. William Blount has one of the nicer fields around. Farragut has the field to beat and with what they have done in the past they deserve it.
  18. Im gonna have to say AE wins their game. I dont know anything about stone mem.
  19. Seymour scrimmages William Blount away Thursday and Knox Central at home friday. Those are our 1st 2 scrimmages.
  20. I hope your right about the Seymour thing but May is a crazy month. That 1st game of region is a battle bc both teams have there #1 pitcher and #1 lineup out there.. sometimes one break decides what team goes on to substate and whos goin home.. as for the other region.. I think the team to beat is AC.. I know CAk has kolinsky?sp? but You cant get out of district throwing th same pitcher every game.. Good luck to the teams in 4-AA.. Im sure itll be tough like always..
  21. This region is always tough.. that 1st region game will be a battle to see who makes it to substate between each districts top 2 teams... it always is
  22. HAHAHA... this is def. a joke
  23. hahah nice right there black

    District 1 AA

pigeon forge will definitely have some trouble winning this district... especially since there not even in it..
  25. Seymour's starting rotation will be tough between Koeneman, Church, and Lynam. Another good staff will be Anderson Co. with Byrge and Pack at the top. They have many other guys that offset those two very well.
