  2. I'm absolutely addicted to Diet Sundrop. Unfortunately, it's getting harder to find here in the Knoxville area. Plenty of the regular--but no Diet.

I'm so addicted that I'm ordering it from the Tullahoma plant--costs a fortune but it's worth it!!

  3. As a Clinton alum it's been hard to watch the decline of this program. From a perennial playoff team to a four year record of 11-29.

I'm not calling for the man's head, but he definitely has to turn it up a notch. If not, Clinton is in danger of becoming Campbell County South--the two schools bookending Clinton have made a major commitment to winning.

Catlett's future may rest on whether he can keep the majority of the undefeated middle school team in Clinton. It not, his fate may be sealed. And with all the talk of building a new state of the art football stadium 3-7 just won't cut it.

  4. Totally agree on the crossover games. It really makes it feel like a state playoff.

As a Clinton fan it was fun to play a Riverdale...a Lebanon...a Tullahoma early on in the playoffs. Of course, lately we haven't had to worry about ANY playoff opponent!

  5. According to the Knoxville News-Sentinel Clinton was assessed 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties for not wearing the proper "tail-bone pads."

Since unsportsmanlike penalties are also charged against the coach--Catlett was ejected because two such penalties are an automatic ejection.

  6. An excellent question, orangenblack. The last time I saw Coach Honea was in '92 when Clinton was making its run to the Clinic Bowl. He attended one of the playoff games--believe it was the win over Riverdale. But never got to hear where he was living.

Coach Honea did a great job with those Dragon teams of the early 70s. And he did it with teams that only had around 20 players with almost everyone going both-ways.
