its not that they reload every year....its that their coaching staff just gets better and better at what they do.....maplewood coaches have built a solid program up and they just coming off of a tough oe where they held their own at MBA....but i take lipscomb 28- 14 in this one.

I saw him against Lipscomb as a Freshman a couple of years ago - very impressive.
i played against him that year when the game was at lipscomb and i could tell he was legit. best of luck to this kid

This up coming friday night MTCS will play Nashville Christian looking for their third win this season. On their home page, Nashville Christian is trying to sink the score of last years game( 37 - 7 ) into everyones minds. Though Nashville Christian lost a lot of seniors last year I'm not quiet sure if they will be so successful this year, as they did lose a lot of talent. I believe in MTCS as always and believe if they play the way they have been, if not better, they will be able to celebrate another victory.
~~!!!GO COUGARS!!!~~
I think you are reaching a bit referencing that picture on the NCS homepage. Its just a picture of a scoreboard. Its been up there since the site was created this summer. Has nothing to do with the fact that NCS is playing MTCS this week. Try and find your motivations else where. I am sure a number of the NCS will be made aware of your comments indicating they have virtually no talent left. Perhaps you didn't see them in the preseason against Hillwood, Ezell and others. Nashville Christian had a bad night with turnovers and giving up big fluke plays like a bothched snap picked up in the endzone and returned 102 yards for a TD.

this type of stuff belongs in an eight man football league ....or at houston county

I agree 100%. All of my picks won't make it at where I have them but all should make it as at-large members at least. This year was a great year for Region 5-3A and next year will be even better quite honestly.
i agree. im gonna say dunnavant from giles co. will be on there some where. even witht he injury he was a difference maker for them

I see my name brought out.....hmmmm. I NEVER add to any thread with that private school to discuss 3a football being as how everyone knows how I feel about the multiplier unless they go after my team or me. Game went as I expected.....small 3a school very young playing a seasoned private school....no surprise in the result. As far as running up the score....I personally don't think that would be the case.....the private school just always wants to send a message.... The dl webpage is classic loyal propaganda and quite humerous drivel. Come on and SPLIT......
I do have a question ...what is the lifetime won-loss of DL versus Brentwood Academy, BGA, MBA, and Goodpasture?????
My "retirement" for a week is just a statement on my part.
As far as next week...with Marshall co......game plan is to let Hightower get 250 yds rushing and 10 tackles in the first half.....he will be so worn out ...we will sneak up on them.
Mr. Bullfrog, you can find your answer at The Football Chronicles presented by the Mustangfanpage. Click here.

To start with this is a very young Boyd team. They played hard but obviously were no match tonight for a seasoned CPA team. We will improve and learn from our mistakes.
With that said CPA is a CLASS ACT like no other!!!! They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived on campus. Their fans, coaches, players all were awsome. We work hard at Boyd to leave a good impression on people that visit. I must say that CPA has set a new standard. We have nothing but love and respect for all the Lions and wish you well. Hopefully we can meet later in the year, but we have a lot of catching up to do first. Thank you for your hospitality. Good Luck.
i will give you the class act part on the money. one of bucs players went down and when boyds trainer wen to the field i heard one of the cpas coaching staff say this and i quote " get down on a knee and pray for this kid now" class act doesnt come close to describing that
-
ill tell you what happened. boyds corners blew contain. their safteys werent breaking on the ball. their linbackers were inexistent.their d line was average. their o couldnt hang on to the ball,...not much of a running game,....o line was below average. and the fact that cpa was on
-
i went because i thought i would see a good game. i left at the middle of the third and the lions had a 51 point lead with the ball. i was mistaken
-
wasnt impressed either
-
with the game less than a week away,.....there should be alot of people excited about this one. what are some thoughts?
-
zach rogers - wr-lipscomb
-
I bet he sure got excited.
I'll say this again Don'ta Hightower is a legit D-1 prospect. I've heard he's already getting letters from Michigan.
donta' hightower is a top prospect but letters are just letters and offers are offers. letters dont mean as much as people think
