1. Your apparant dislike for Coach Guinn (not Quinn)!! has nothing to do with the fact that he is a proven coach and winner at every level he has coached. Most of the great coaches do have a bit of arrogance(confidence) about them. Obviously you are either: a) a disgrunted coach/parent who couldn't beat Coach Guinn or /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> a player who was never asked or invited to play for the STARS and Coach Guinn. In either case, you are making yourself sound like a childish whiner. Maybe you should go back to Colonial Heights and help that program become the kind of dynasty that Coach Guinn built for the Stars, Anderson County, and now Pigeon Forge.

Coach Guinn definitely deserves to be considered as one of the best HS coaches.

    My top 5

    1. Pharr (Farragut)

    2. Norman (Seymour)

    3. Davis (Gibbs)

    4. Guinn (Pigeon Forge)

    5. Buckner (Bearden)

    Have a good day!

Agreed, these are five very good coaches.

  2. i was simply stating the thoughts of a game on saturday. yea i do have confidnce in this team. it was definitely time for a change in the coaching. the hardest thrower doesn't make somebody the best pitcher. there are plenty of guys that will step up and take care of the pitching and the last time i checked micheal white can throw just as hard as byrge with a better curve and has a more intimidating height on the mound. last years team ran into a pitcher who was really on that night and when you meet a good pitcher who is on, its always tough to beat him. farragut is obviuosly better than any 2a team so i was just saying that they will be the best team ac plays has to face until the state tourney because they don't play USJ until the state.

Yea AC did run into a pitcher that was on but they'll also ran into a team who put up 11 hit, 6 runs, and no errors against them and their ace

Housewright....... is he a lefty? We have seen a few this season. Two good ones and as you, we don't know much about Gibbs. Should be a dandy. Good luck!

Yes Housewright is a lefty. He really knows how to pitch so im expecting this game to be a close one.

  4. QUOTE(sportsfreak2307 @ May 17 2007 - 09:17 AM) 826461056what happened at the end of the game i was trying to get to where i could see after Ray Burchell got the 3 run double and next thing you know the game was over. Also, this game might have been one of the worst officiated games in a while.

Seymour third baseman forgot their was a runner on second and started creeping towards the pitchers mound and left third base unoccupied. Then Ray Burchell tried to take third base and Seymours third baseman got back in time to put the tage on Ray.

  5. QUOTE(underdog32 @ May 15 2007 - 07:11 AM) 826459358just wonderin what in the world happend to AC. how did bryge throw? and did ac just make errors or did seymor just crush the ball.

Seymour came ready to play and had 10 hits off Burge.

  6. QUOTE(jimmy dolan @ May 14 2007 - 11:54 AM) 826458936its all about coaching, and i havent seen anyone at the high school level manage a game like the coach from AC. man, he is intense! the eagles may be taking flight for the last time tonight WITH the mighty mavs playing in front of rowdy GUINN stadium crowd. leonard's losers in a close one, seymour.

Seymour came into AC and took care of business. From the first pitch to the last they were in control. AC is a great team and i have much respect for them.
